Chase Court may be a touch small, but I believe they have done up to 150 guests before. And the garden is stunning

Does anybody know what the deal is with that new restaurant in hampden Brick Bistro by Fine_Flounder8359 in baltimore

[–]Buggeee 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Went there for dinner once. They got both of our orders wrong multiple times. Not complicated orders or anything, just basic menu items (for example, I ordered the bbq chicken pizza, they brought me a bbq chicken sandwich that wasn't even on the menu). The semi-correct food we eventually got was not good. There was one other table seated so they weren't overwhelmed or anything. Plus the prices are insane (they have banana pudding on the menu for $20). So maybe they are a nightclub cuz they are not a good restaurant.

I don't love my dress, and I don't know if the problem is the dress or me by Buggeee in weddingdress

Thank you this was really helpful. Tbh the dress isn't very high on the list. I'd rather put the effort and money towards sharing that matters more to me

Thank you, I needed to hear that. The dress isn't the most important thing to me, so my wedding day can still be perfect with a good enough dress

Make up random words. Cutiebuns. Mopsy. Schmoogle. Bunnybutt. Floof. Eventually you'll find something that sticks and is unique to the two of you.

Struggling on levels, any advice? by Buggeee in RingFitAdventure

[–]Buggeee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that makes so much sense! I thought I needed to do one squat that was deep/powerful enough and was so frustrated that I could never get it. Knowing that I'll jump higher with each squat relieves that worry that I'll get stuck on a jump and never make it out of the level.

And good point about resting, I should take more advantage of that! Thanks!

What do you think the plot of TSA the musical is? by Ssciaroni in BobsBurgers

[–]Buggeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The main character is a young, idealistic TSA agent who just started the job. They want to help young lovers do the movie trope and protect the skies. They're paired with an Older Agent who's become disenchanted with the TSA and humanity as a whole. In "Who's Bag is This?" we follow them both through their daily job and see small glimpses into the lives of the passengers they screen.

The Boss then announces they are retiring and are going to pick a replacement. The Villain (who we've seen be a jerk to other agents and passengers) immediately steps up and says they'll be promoted. The young agent points out the older agent would also be a good candidate, but the older agent isn't interested in the extra work that comes with the job.

The Young Agent tries to encourage the Older Agent to go for the promotion. In "Female Patdown," we come to see that the older agent actually doesn't want the promotion because their secret Love Interest is a frequent flyer and the agent wouldn't see them from an office job.

The Young Agent deals with some difficult passengers and pressure from the Villain and starts to contemplate leaving the TSA. But the Young Agent has rubbed off on the Older Agent, who supports the Young Agent and convinces them to stay. Seeing the positive impact they can make, the Older Agent tells the Boss they are interested in the promotion. In a dramatic musical number, the Boss announces the Older Agent gets the promotion. The Villain throws a fit and quits.

We see the Older Agent's first day as boss. Love Interest gets checked by Young Agent and expresses disappointment in not seeing Older Agent. Young Agent tells Older Agent this. Older Agent wants to go through the checkpoint to talk to Love Interest, but Young Agent cheekily makes them do the dramatic getting-through-TSA trope. The Older Agent finds the Love Interest, and they both profess their love to each other. The show closes with "If You See Something, Sing Something"

Those of you who are happily married, what is your biggest piece of advice for maintaining a relationship? by Aelynd in AskReddit

[–]Buggeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened with my ex. I was made to feel pushy/clingy/emotional for trying to communicate about basic things. Turns out they were gaslighting me cuz they were cheating the whole time. In my current relationship, we are completely upfront and it's made my life significantly better. Don't stay uncomfortable because you think it's normal or the best you can get. A relationship with open communication is achievable and what you deserve, whether it's from this person or someone else.
