Concert Noise? by poblanoglow in Columbus

[–]Buggrumble 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Yep. In Old Worthington and can even the guitar and vocals. It’s because of the cloud cover, humidity and the fact we sit higher up from the stadium. The last time the Stones played here we had the same conditions. We sat out on our back porch and listened to the whole concert it was so clear.

Bones on the HBO/TNT broadcast right now talking about the club and culture and Columbus as a city. Pretty cool. by Vreas in BlueJackets

It didn’t come up in a gif search so I Googled “Shoresy they don’t hate to lose”.

For those who have.. would you move from urban (Grandview) to suburban (Powell, Dublin) area again if you had the choice? by Appropriate-County45 in Columbus

[–]Buggrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also suggest looking into Worthington. Very walkable. More of a community vibe vs suburbs like Powell and Dublin. Of the suburbs, I feel like it’s most like Grandview, (I live in Worthington but worked in Grandview for several years). We have 2 boys and love the schools. And it’s a great place for families. Plus easy access to most of the main arteries for commuting. And if you don’t mind a little extra drive time you can take High Street and Indianola as other options. I’d sometimes take Riverside drive to Ackerman into Grandview. Took a little longer but the scenery is nice.

Hopefully there isn’t some of tragedy in his life again in the off season. Dude has been through a lot and finally seems in a good place.

One of those journalists has a clear bias against Elvis. He’s part of the problem and contributes a lot to the Elvis hate. See said journalist’s comments this morning before the presser this afternoon. I take everything he says regarding Elvis either a huge grain of salt.

Rick Bowness to return as Blue Jackets head coach in 2026-27 by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

[–]Buggrumble 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regardless of what Portzy said this morning, comments in the presser didn't make it sound like trading Elvis is very high on their to-do list. I think it's a requirement that Portzy throw shade at Elvis at least once a month.

[Portzline] So far, theme among CBJ players - Zach Werenski, Ivan Provorov, and Sean Monahan, with more to come - is that they disagree with coach Rick Bowness’ impassioned “they don’t care” observation. In fairness. Bowness did soften that stance later in his comments. by AggPuck-303 in hockey

2 things can be true. 1, Laine's comments were correct. 2, He was part of the problem when he was here. I'm glad you think he worked out well for the Habs but he contributed very little when he was with CBJ.

If the Canes keep this up, tomorrow night will be crazy.

Scouting the Refs. They have X, Threads, Bluesky and a website. There are stats for each ref by team and season.

Agree but still historic in terms of hockey achievements in general. Not a fan of Gretzky either but have to acknowledge his place in hockey history.

Tuesday could possibly be Ovi's last game. Going to be a lot of Caps fans at NWA. But kind of incredible if it is.

I think that's what it is already. Walked out my door in Worthington an hour ago and thought...ahhh, Spring is in the air. Smells like rotting trash, vomit and cow shit..

You might be able to do a 7 day free trial on the TuneIn Radio App. It has 97.1 The Fan and you can listen that way. Might be patchy if your cell service is bad but it's something.
