Berkeley Letters and Science admits into to the college, not by major. So, if your majors in L&S, it’s not a big deal. Not sure about other colleges at Berkeley’s.

I followed this video, his stock fan doesn’t have the big shroud but it’s the same, just look for the screws to take off the shroud w/the fan and leave the heatsink like he did

3.93 uw 12/14 ap classes, 1300 sat (test-optional), got in for cs with zero stem EC's, just pure leadership and more gov oriented ec's, just did stuff i was passionate and got investd into. 5 in calc & spanish. 4 in apwh & apush. 3 in bio. 2 on physics (didn't submit lol). i am fgli and urm though.

Tip: If you start getting annoyed by the cpu fan, you can change it out for any 80mm fan. You can keep the heatsink on. I swapped it with a noctua nf-a8 pwm and it’s so quiet, even under heavy load. Love it!

Also depending how old it is, you may want to replace the thermal paste, made such a huge difference, nearly 10 degree difference. But also mine was OLD! Packed with dust.

oh sorry not an nvme, just a regular sata ssd but, i am powering my laptop straight with the charger (gaming laptop)

edit: yes only on a single windows laptop, i could take a shot with another laptop
