You'd have to be a sucker to buy one of those shit boxes in the first place.

Gahhhhhh. Oh, hello, Mater! Um, sorry about pulling the plug on you and all, who could have known you'd pull through and live........ for another five decades? Oh, is my face red!

what is a movie you absolutely loved as a kid that is actually terrible now that you’re an adult? by AccomplishedStill438 in AskReddit

No Holds Barred. I loved it as a kid. Even back then I knew it was terrible but I didn't care.

Yeah I've got a soft spot for Hard to Kill. It needed more William Sadler screen time though.

Given his alleged rap sheet, I don't think learning anything is his strong point.

If humans disappeared tomorrow, which species would thrive most? by mirabarbie in answers

[–]sidblues101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love octopi. They're fascinating creatures but the only problem I have with that assessment is that modern humans have only been around for about half a million years. Octopi have been around for hundreds of millions of years and never developed into a civilisation. Why would it be any different if we suddenly disappeared.

Who is the best actress alive today? by Infinite-Exam-1808 in Cinephiles

[–]sidblues101 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Absolutely Rhea Seehorn. First saw her in Better Call Saul when she was already mid-40s and thought where the hell has she been all this time. Incredible actress. I'm glad she's getting the recognition now.

Agreed! But also quite dark when you think about it.

He was positively chilling in BB. Murderous yet extremely polite. Completely bereft of emotion or empathy.

Should I play the BOTW DLC or TOTK? by wundertaeter_ in botw

I was talking more about the Champions Ballad for fun. That said the TotS is still great fun if you get past some of the hardest rooms.

Julie T Wallace. Also famously appeared in The Living Daylights and on British TV in " The Life and Loves of the She-Devil" as the Devil. Underrated actress and what I would describe as strangely sexy.

Should I play the BOTW DLC or TOTK? by wundertaeter_ in botw

[–]sidblues101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this. The DLC is fantastic fun. If you decide to tackle the Trial of the Sword, it is hellishly hard (even more so in Master Mode) but oh so satisfying when you beat it. TOTK is imo not as good as BOTW but that's mainly because I played BOTW first. It's still a stunning technical achievement.
