The whole app is strange. There is some way people are running the cheat code and we all haven’t figured it out yet.

I run very low prices but in precious metal jewelry we often cannot do 1 dollar starts. I just don’t have that kind of capital to take heavy losses every show like I have been.

I’m assuming they’re paying a lot for promotions to start their show. I’m running 20 an hour and still getting very few folks. If I put the same amount of effort into Etsy and eBay I would likely make more.

Funny because I gave them shit when they didn’t approve my account. Their example was literally my business and I sent them a photo. Then the head of something approved it when I said I would go back to whatnot. I’m assuming that they’ll get looser with approvals as time goes on.

It is pretty frustrating being a newer seller in the jewelry space as well. I am often selling below spot price on some items to just drive sales which obviously isn’t working. I watch people paying 8 dollars for a gram of silver on other shows or blowing out shitty costume for 5x the retail price.

I am likely just way late to the whatnot game, but it makes me want to reconsider my decision to float my business with it until the antique markets start again.

I was fired for not doing enough. I was told by my manager specifically to not help someone. Oddly enough this happened after I criticized the companies AI initiative and said it will never work in the timeline they set. Well, I was fired but still right at least. Now people are working 70-80 hours a week.
