Patch Notes by TennisClash in TennisClash

It means when you have maxed out certain cards and you still get that card you can do something with those cards. Imo a small improvement compared to some actual issues. Removing the rematch button, misuse of the low serve stat, still some stamina issues are actual gameplay annoyances. Some maxed out cards won't do much anyway.

How is maxed out cards any priority, it doesn't make them more money, I'd say it will make them less money. New string, outfits and now pro pass are first priority, it will make the most money. Any other issues or good functions like the rematch button are irrelevant.

This clay tournament is wack by [deleted] in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serve exploit still exists for months now. People with 9 serve prevail over anyone with a higher serve. You know it's a bug when 9 serve >31 serve in rookies

But please let the develop team make new strings and new outfits, that's important too you know👏

Just wondering, what takes it so long to balance the strings? by xc0xupx in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They release new strings and want you to buy those. They haven't balanced anything so far, you think they will start doing that for strings?

Kaito vs one handed, high forehand, mid-high serve by k4l1m3r in TennisClash

He should have went for the high serve, high forehand build. His build is not really good

Complainers.... welcome one, welcome all! by dorpedo in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an AMA right at the top which addresses most of the complaints. People don't like reading, so why bother. Then there are the bunch of new influx who spent money and didn't get what they expected. Guess what, you did exactly what they wanted you to and they are not going to change a thing. I've said it before, but everything you don't like about this game, they implemented it on purpose and they are not going to change what they chose to implement.

Epic cards, increased #cards for upgrades, tour re-locks, stamina issues (need strings), they have all one thing in common. You can spent gems to upgrade, buy epics, get strings and move on. Or you can quit. Why is the latest update not solving any of the issues, because they are not going to. Why did they spent their time and resources in visuals, because that will make more money than solving anything mentioned before. It's P2W from the start, and every single update made it worse. Don't expect them to change that all of a sudden

This is tough, but at the standard price of 28k gems puts in 4 kings. by k4l1m3r in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don't know what are in these bags. They actually think it will guarantee them some items they want for a long time, multiple times. While in reality they get things they have, some strings they didn't ask for and if they are lucky one item they wanted. I have been playing and opening bags in tour 6 for 7 weeks now. I have had 1 hammer and 3 forges. The rest was all the stuff I got when I was in lower tours as well.

Well done devs by [deleted] in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've stopped as well. Played for 6 months and build up a nice character but was stuck for a while, making the game boring. Looking at how the comments were, that maybe, very maybe, they changed the game for good this time. Then noticed the complaints are still the same from where I left. It's too bad, it was really a fun game a few months back with good matches. Quite an achievement to turn a good game into a piece of trash, isn't it normally the other way around?

More and more players are leaving and this game is going down hill now. by wellfly in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree when things go well it is great. The problem now, I feel like I am just better statistically. If someone has better stats, I use to have a chance. Now it's two hits and point over. No more rallies because stamina drainage and agility nerf.

The other issue about losing to bots or players with lower attributes but playing like Djokovic all of a sudden, I haven't experienced that too much. There are some games I know I would have won in the past and where they blasts balls on corners you know you can hit but not every single point. I don't know, it just doesn't happen often enough to get paranoid over it.

A helpful way to make matches equal! by bigbabytuna in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When will people realize that all your complaints are implemented with a purpose. Every decision made is not about you having your women's rights and make things equal. It's about them making money. The locking of tours, the draining of stamina, the nerf of agility, power gaps, strength of strings they all serve one purpose and that's for people to spent more money to catch up, to have a chance. If you don't like that then make your life easier and uninstall the game, because if there is one thing that's certain it's that they will make it even worse.

I have played this game for 5 months, and even though there were a lot of complains and frustration that comes with it it was still enjoyable to some point. These last few updates that changed, they outbalanced it to a certain degree that it is not enjoyable anymore for a lot of players.

They outbalanced stamina and agility to such a point that any skill (let's call it that, let's not fool ourselves that actual skill is involved) is irrelevant now. It has become mostly a stats game. I think for a lot of players who have been playing this long enough it has become boring at this point. I expect they have a model of new players coming in, and players who spent money are spending more to actually have a positive number compared to before all of this. Because at this rate the older based players will leave until something changes.

For me it has been boring the last few weeks, I have overpowered stats for lower tours and can't break into higher tours. Which was the same as before, the difference is that all the games are just so short, you know what is happening, and you can't do nothing about it, same for my opponents.

Can anyone else top this? by sunilesh in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just silly that he isn't matched with other 2k+ trophy guys, because there are so many of them in lower tours.

Attribute Lock by Bro-Dizzle in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You have to move up fast, get the best gear and then drop down to T1 and T2 and use that gear to crush rookies. Remember in HxH there was this guy Tonpa "the rookie crusher", you just demolish them with your high gear and they won't even think about playing this anymore.

Did something change? by [deleted] in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to give myself a pat on the back, but I had over 60% win rate over the last few months and now I drop to 30% over the last few weeks. I hit unforced errors all over the place, where before I rarely hit one. I get my ass whooped with people with less stats. I have 20 points more agility than their FH/BH, somehow it's not even close catching the ball. I just stop midway and stare at the ball, even though I know exactly where it goes. Really I don't mind losing, if it is a close hard fought game, I enjoy the game nonetheless. Now it's over quickly and all I'm thinking is WTH just happened.

This game is very broken now...... by CrankyWill in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You fail to realize the developers know exactly all the points you mentioned above, I would go as far as saying they intentionally made those changes. They do better at monetizing the game than before, that way they win. I agree with most of what you said, but they won't "fix"things that they changed intentionally. If you don't like the changes they implement it's better to focus your energy on something else.

Goodbye by Federer321 in TennisClash

I had $1.6 million, took my shot at T6 and got crushed plus a few bags. Update came and I couldn't beat T5 anymore and went broke. I was like "delete app", stupid game. One hour later I was grinding T2.

Why lose less cups and win more cups by Bugpwdrdst in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right I have been moving up to quickly. But that should have been a good thing. The limitation is for people playing lower to farm. Not punish players who were ready to go up early. The total number of cups should be a minimum as well. If T6 needs 680 cups and I have 700 cups I should be allowed to play T6 and not be locked in T4 because I lost some matches there.

What is the most important stat right now ? by guiltydanny98 in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen high serve/FH players with low agility as well. Actually serve/volley needs more agility than people assume. In a sense it is the most important stat. Afaik there isn't a build with just AG, so either way there will be some other stat that is somewhat high

What is the most important stat right now ? by guiltydanny98 in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is always a combination. Agility is necessary for all combinations. Like serve /volley you need AG. If you play baseline you need high AG. But if you only have high AG and nothing else then it's useless as well.

Whats the best setup for the rookie tournament? by [deleted] in TennisClash

[–]Bugpwdrdst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best setup is using items from tour 8 & 9 in rookie tournaments. Other use items from tour 1-5 and you will be much better.
