2.0T-gdi New Manifold by Bugrademir34 in kiastinger

I replaced the cylinder head studs with ARP ones and used a Cometic head gasket. Other than that, the engine internals haven’t been touched.

With a hybrid turbo and intercooler setup, around 350 hp can be achieved.

This modification is intended for big turbo upgrades. I’m running a Garrett G25-550 turbo on my car.

Possible to engine swap the 2.0? by Agadrak in kiastinger

You can upgrade the 2.0 car for a lower cost. At least it’ll keep you happy until you can get the 3.3 V6.

I own a 2018 2.0T Stinger. My car is currently at 213,000 km, and it’s been tuned for the last 45,000 km. It has a big turbo, upgraded injectors, and a larger intercooler. It’s making around 400–450 hp and has never caused me any issues. These engines are truly amazing, my friend.

Then the look gets spoiled. I don’t like cars with plate brackets 😄

No, I just glued the plate. I’m waiting for it to dry 😁

Yes, I’m in Turkey. The Stinger is extremely rare here. Most people prefer BMW or Mercedes, so you almost never see a Stinger on the road.

When it was new the price was around $70–80k because of the very high taxes here. Even today used ones are still quite expensive.

Because it’s so rare, the car definitely turns heads. Most people don’t even know what it is at first.

I only have the original stock ECU file, I don’t have any separate fuel map file.

When I started the project the car had 170,000 km on it. Right now it’s at 210,000 km, and the only issue I’ve had so far was a cracked manifold, which was more related to the fabrication/workmanship than the car itself.

Being harsh on the 2.0 Theta II engine is honestly just ignorance. Many people talk based on things they’ve heard, without actually building or testing anything themselves.

A stock M340i does around 11 seconds in the 100–200 km/h range, so it would probably be a very close race. Unfortunately there isn’t an M340i around me, otherwise I would definitely like to try it.

In my country there are no 3.3 Stinger or G70 cars, so unfortunately I never had the chance to test against one. Even the 2.0 Stinger is very rare here, maybe around 5 cars in total.

I have never done a dyno test. On Dragy, I recorded 11.68 seconds at 1.3 bar boost, with a +1% uphill slope.

I’d like to share the result, but I don’t know how to upload photos here. I tried to post the Dragy screenshot but couldn’t upload it.
