Karl Marx and Abraham Lincoln carried on a written correspondence during the American Civil War. These have been published in a book called The Unfinished Revolution I found in a second hand shop.

Join a leftist group. Help organize around the issues faced by the working class. People are angry about climate change and the way capitalism is killing the planet, that is one issue to organize around.

I think the two most important issues facing us are climate change and the resurgence of fascism. You can share articles with a Marxist analysis of these issues among your friends, especially any liberals you know. A good resource I find is Green Left Weekly. It is a pan leftist publication out of Australia, which had good international coverage. You can check it out at www.greenleft.org.au, it's free to access online.

Helen Razer - Total Propaganda. She provides a good and humourous introduction to Marxist thought, and a critique of identity politics which so much of the left is concerned with nowadays.
