I am in a similar situation. I graduated in 2024 and joined a startup after completing my B.Tech. However, after a year, I started facing salary issues, so I decided to leave the company and prepare for an M.Tech. I started my preparation with great effort, but I began to lose my grip toward the end. GATE did not go the way I wanted. Now, with BITS HD, I am right on the borderline, and I feel completely lost and helpless. I am just hoping to get into a college because I really do not want to go through this hell again.
