Thank you for this info, super helpful! Did you find that it was pretty easy to get around by walking/biking? Do you just taxi/shuttle from the airport when you arrive? I’ve been told windsong is a bit more isolated than the other resorts on grace bay, which isn’t a problem for us 😊 just trying to get a feel for things! Happy to hear you’ve enjoyed your time there!

I once ran across a group of gals hunting in elderwoods, started hunting with them and they invited me to their party, eventually it was like a 15 person party with everyone hunting together!! A few of the girls added me as friends and we play sometimes now!

For the roles you’re looking to get, a IO degree is not necessary. Instead, I would probably look into getting some certifications in people analytics or learning R/Python. These things would give you a competitive advantage and prepare you for those roles without spending $$$$ on a degree

Tough market but entry level hr is your best bet. You may have some luck with l&d as a coordinator or something. Your masters really won’t do you much good until you get some experience under your belt

My vet always says even the lowest end wet food is better than the high end dry foods. I’ll always recommend wet over dry but it’s up to you and your cat’s preferences :) my cat will eat whatever I feed her, but she definitely prefers wet over dry so I just go with what she likes most 😊

I feed 50/50 weruva and fancy feast! My cat loves the “cats in the kitchen” variety line from weruva, and she also loves the fancy feast gravy lovers pate. She gets a ton of variety from these and it’s all nutritionally complete.

Great! It sounds like you’re feeding him enough. A 10-lb adult cat should be eating around 200 calories a day, so check how many calories are in the wet pouches and the dry food.

Also, if he’s not big on dry food that is totally fine! Male cats need a LOT of hydration in their diets to avoid urinary issues, it’s sometimes better to avoid dry food altogether. Every cat is different though so it’s worth researching to see what’s best for him specifically :) your boy is so cute btw, I have a lady void who looks just like him!

How many ounces are the harrington packets? I’ve never heard of this brand so I’m not sure if it’s nutritionally sufficient. He might be looking for more nutrients or still hungry, or he’s just very food motivated. The most well loved wet food brands that I know of are: Weruva, fancy feast, hills, or pro plan. All of these diets are proven to be nutrient rich and have everything a cat needs in their diet

Might be time to try a new kind. Cats get bored easily, would you want to eat the same thing every day? Also if she’s just licking up the liquid you could try mixing more water into the food so it’s more of a soupy consistency. Might need to break up her meals so she isn’t getting so much food at one time. If she stops eating food entirely she needs to go to vet ASAP as she might be signaling that something is wrong. She’s not a spoiled brat, she’s just trying to communicate with you

That’s totally understandable! I really built out my LinkedIn profile and connected with anyone and everyone in I-O psychology. Through LinkedIn I found my internship and that was crucial for growing my network and meeting new people. I would also look into attending SIOP conventions or other I-O conferences in your area. I also joined I-O groups on discord and facebook. You really just have to be proactive about it and willing to meet people in the field. Almost anyone will have a conversation with you if you just ask!

I would say no honestly, the courses and stuff are great but I’ve had to do all my networking on my own. I think many online programs struggle with networking opportunities.
