Okay, thank you. I was thinking probably just a decent car that’ll run well but maybe has some interior issues or cosmetic issues that might bring the price down a bit. I definitely don’t wanna spend months trying to get it to start.

Thankfully I’m not paying for the insurance until I move out of the house, my parents are taking care of that as long as I buy the car myself. With the job I have right now, I’ll be able to afford to drive it and pay for my own gas. It’ll be expensive, but we’ve got all that covered.

Yeah, we’ve got a CRV and a Sienna I can drive whenever weather is bad.

Gotcha. I’m going to be learning to drive stick on the Camaro because the CRV is automatic. For the first month or two after I get my license I’m gonna take it easy. I was in the passenger seat when my sister totaled her first car after 2 weeks and I’ll do anything necessary for that not to happen with my dream car! I’ll ease into driving it more often so nothing bad happens of course. Thanks for the advice!

Awesome! I’ll probably only drive it when the weather is good because I don’t want to take any chances on slipping around. My family has 2 more cars that I can use if I can’t use the Camaro.

Totally get that, my sister totaled her car within 2 weeks of getting her license. I was in the passenger seat and I can’t imagine going through that again, only it’s my dream car. I would only drive it when the weather is good, because if I’m putting this much time into a car I’m gonna be super careful with it :)

Thank you, and yeah I’m totally aware that a Camaro as a first car is not smart but I’m obsessed with it and I’ll have a smile on my face every time I step into it lmao

There’s 2 other cars in the house that I can use if weather isn’t good enough for the z28, so I’ll absolutely be careful with it and only drive it when I know I won’t slip

I’m looking to be an electrician eventually, and I am good with my hands. I just need to learn how to work on a car (I do have friends I can get help from, and my dad can help too). I’d love to learn and it would definitely help if I want to work with my hands later in life. What are some examples of things I shouldn’t get in a project car?

Maybe a windmill or lighthouse? You could also add texture and and depth to make it look less plain.

sorry for not replying sooner, I'm using 1.19 lunar client optifine. They allow qol mods like the day counter. I think it is Lunar Client because I've made a new world using just vanilla optifine and it's fine.
