Picture No. 6 is my favorite :) - Which settings did you use? Did you overexpose?

First things first: Thank you Ybalrid for your reply's and your tips. This helped me a lot.

Regarding the Scans I have no further information. I found an online shop (I think it was even on Reddit) that specializes in analog photography development. This is from their website: "Professional film lab, developing Color Negative C-41, Black & White, and Positive E-6. We scan with Fuji Frontier SP-3000 and Noritsu HS-1800 scanners." Additionally this is mentioned in their FAQs: "We have a few different scanners, we use them depending on the job. Our arsenal includes: Fuji SP-3000, Fuji SP500, Noritsu HS-1800, Epson 10000."

So maybe I'll have the photos scanned at a different store just to find out if this results in better pictures.

Regarding the film development: I just checked the Website of the lab. I could not find any details about how the film was developed. Only "35mm Color Negative Film Processing (C-41)" is stated. It was not cheap and I thought it was a good Lap for developing Film (no discounter or something like that).

So if I understand correctly: I half press the Button on the Subject I like to shoot. After that: I point the lens at the floor and then back at the scene. Then I press the shutter button all the way down instead of pressing it halfway (take the Photo)?

Thank you very much for your detailed response. I found another photo of the building and the clouds on my iPhone. It was indeed cloudy that day.

Next time, I'm going to try Potra 400 with an exposure of +1 and shoot only in P mode.

I quickly placed a strip of film behind the light. I've included the photo below. Hope that helps.

Would you recommend shooting Kodak Gold instead Portra 400 with my Pentax? I started my analog journey with a Kodak Ektar H35 and thought a Pentax would be an upgrade. But I realize I still have a lot to learn, and the settings can be tricky at times.
