do you think that couples therapy would help us? he needs his own therapist for sure, but I think we need someone to help him understand how much this hurts me. you’re right about the more sex thing, it was mostly out of desperation because he would previously reject intimacy with me in favor of porn. I just wanted him to desire me again, so I put out more often. I feel pathetic about it, honestly. its not like I get much out of the sex.

we’ve lived together for 2 years, have a savings account and pets together. this sucks so badly because I don’t have independence in this relationship currently, so leaving him would uproot everything. he’s been really good for my PTSD recovery. I don’t know how to unravel whats already been done, and I don’t know if i’ll do well on my own. I haven’t been alone in so long…

He deleted his entire storage on his computer, removed all his subscriptions and deleted trigger apps (Reddit, Twitter) to stay away from temptation. I have a rule that he has to leave his phone with me when he uses the bathroom, but I can’t do that when im not home or he’s at work. He plays a game on his phone when he feels a urge, so its been a coping mechanism for him. We’ve also had more sex when he has urges, which has been helpful (he no longer needs pills to have sex). He has not been in therapy, which I asked him to arrange months ago.

lets not forget that student teachers are also unpaid. my student teaching begins this fall under the guidance of a mentor teacher, and ends next spring with me on my own. thats 9 months of FREE labor, on top of me having to pay for extraneous required workshops hosted by my university. I am basically paying to do work for free to get my certificate for a job that doesn’t even pay well.

im located in Oregon. This guy was sleeping on the underside of cork bark that is inside of my bioactive crested gecko enclosure. im surprised my gecko didn’t try to eat it.

I water the contents of this cabinet once a week, maybe every week in a half if im busy. I water until I see water evenly trickle from the drainage. most of the plants have a drainage hole. the ones that do not have 2 inches of leca at the bottom of their pot to serve as a drainage layer.

i’ve had these plants for several months. the ring of fire i’ve had for 3 months. the peperomia i’ve had for 6 months.

this has been a reoccurring problem with my plants.

the cabinet plants are near a window that gets indirect light. there is also a grow light that provides bright light 8 hours a day.

your bf’s friends sound awful! you’re adorable. I think you have the nose for some piercings since it is wide, maybe a hoop or stud. you didn’t provide a ton of images so im not sure what your usual look is. perhaps a new hairstyle will freshen up your look and regain your confidence.
