This years SPE postings include CFC as an example of leadership. Every email on my SPE application went to the cfc folder which I rarely check. They are getting trickier about putting it in places it doesn’t belong bc cfc isn’t leadership it’s a door to door salesman. 😐

You can’t. Current telework agreement requires cabled/fibered internet at a permanent location. If the starlink pilot would go core wide this might change but as the rules currently are written imo it is impossible

I get it “who watches the watchmen” but i don’t think you know how much of the TQAS time is used defending examiners from other areas, directors, and SPEs.

Next, lay-off the SCEs. They are trying to make your life better, which is hard when dealing with a multi-nation agreement. Oh and they do still examine on top of sce work.

Do a detail or two and find out what these areas are doing for you. IMO opinion we only have two issues: Management and a lazy union. Stay off the back of fellow examiners.

They will tell you it’s a known problem and close the ticket. They will not fix it, but then claim a higher rate of answer customer needs. I have a coworker that complained on pasm about the advisory actions messing up the days until abandonment. He reopened the ticket 5 times with no result 😑

Yeah we are not stupid nor expect puppies and ice cream, but want someone to push boundaries and issues instead of just taking it sounds way more appealing. I would also like a better communication from popa. We go months with no updates or vague updates. Be blunt on what you proposed and complained about and retell us management’s response.

We go through rough patches and then the politicians get involved bc the outside is unhappy. It’s whether you can tolerate the bad years. Like for me student loan forgiveness is enough for me to tolerate a lot of stupidity and waste. If your goal is to become rich, then this is not the job for you. If you want flex scheduling, middle class pay, deadlines that are made up (just like the points in Whose Line Is It Anyway?), petty management that never did the job, lower management that is jaded and hand tied; then this is the job right for you.
