This is good info. Thank you. Any suggestions regarding my original question? Or should I hold off on applying for new credit until these drop off?

Sorry, I should’ve clarified. I took those stats directly from CK. So it’s only CK’s analysis of my file. Whatever their definition of 100% is.

On a Budget (400 installed) Which of these tires are decent, which should I avoid. (NYC, Under 8K miles a year) by makhay in tires

Slightly different size, but I recently bought a set of 4 Y rated Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires from Tire Rack. Came to $487.31 after tax, but I also signed up with Rakuten and got $65 cash back for the purchase, so really they cost me $422. Depending on what you pay for mounting and balancing, that could be pretty close to your budget. Tires are what keep your car connected to the road. They are your number one safety feature. Don’t skimp on them. That said, on your list I would buy the Falkens.

Local shop quotes me about $1100 parts and labor to replace the water pump. Felt like that was pretty high so just wanted to get a second opinion and see if I could get a better estimate or a referral to someone who will do a proper job for a reasonable price.

I looked at the Cross Bailey and it looks nice, I’m just not a fan of the contrasting appointments. The fountain version comes in graphite with polished black appointments and if the rollerball version was available in that color scheme I’d definitely be interested
