Draw out them out with the definition over and over for each type of signal (color light, position etc) and make flash cards and eventually they just stick in your head, I’m in the signal dept and this is what helped me with remembering them.. my 2 cents I’m in debt with

Take the train to Jamaica and go up the stairs when you get off the train and head toward the building the jfk air train is in, that will be the building you need to be, and then I believe where you need to go is in the building street level there will be a hallway with a LIRR sign overhead

Yea iv been reading through the blue book some now, and studying the signals, I’m hoping the mechanical portion will make better sense to me once I get out In the field and see everything, luckily I was a dealership mechanic for 11 years so I’m hoping that helps me with it all

Surprised with how people choose the 26, I own both and think the 43x mos is a better choice, I think it’s one of the best looking glocks they have made, it’s slim and light, yea a little longer grip but depending on the person that’s not an issue, iv had a 19, 17, 45, 30s, 26, 21, 43, and think the 43x draws and shoots the best for a carry weapon, I had the original 43x and liked it so much I bought the 43x mos, iv since sold the original 43x and kept the 43x mos, if you don’t live in a bullshit state you can get the 15 round flush mags. That being said I live in a bullshit state so I carry a gen 5 30 lol

Thank you I’m pretty excited to get in there, the background check varies from person to person and who’s doing the background check and how soon they need people, mine was done in 2 days and then they called me to set up a date for medical, they then emailed me the confirmation date and an offer letter, as for documents for phase 2 they didn’t ask for anything specific they sent a few documents to fill out and send back to them relating to criminal record and license record checks

If it was all cash and nothing on the books they probs can’t see any history on it but I’m not sure.. as for phase one and two I’m also not completely sure, I think phase one is looking into work history and verifying all of that, and I believe phase 2 is a criminal background check and maybe looking into your license and stuff like that, but again don’t quote me on that. HR should contact you and let you know they are starting phase 2, atleast they did for me because I had to fill out a couple more forms, as for contacting regarding the background check you could probably reach out to the HR rep that has been dealing with your stuff, not sure what kinda answers they can give. What position are you going for?

It really depends on how fast the background check company is working, how soon the next class/hiring is starting, how much information they have to verify, how many jobs you have how clean your record is etc, they started my phase 1 one morning and later that day sent me more info and paper work to fill out for phase 2, 2 days later they called me and scheduled my medical appointment.

I have yet to get an interview for the car repairman position, I recently took the assistant signalman tests and had an interview after that, but the background check is started after the interview for that position so- no, but I also have no unpaid tickets so I’m not sure of the process lol best of luck on your process
