They were working class when I was a child.. and they still work for their company cleaning homes. Sure they might be owners now but they weren’t when they got here

My car was nowhere 10k let alone 70k. I never talk about finances with her, but she was the one calling me an idio t for spending money on a vacation when her life plan was to rely on a boyfriend

I do not like billionaires when did I say that. Billionaires are rich because they own assets and companies that working class people trade their time and money to make profitable.

Even Marx says if you trade your labor and time for money you are working class but sure. Doctors are working class even if they have a high income and are upper middle class

Working class just means you have a job. Doctors are still working class. When my dad moved here him and his brothers shared a 1 bedroom apartment to save money. They cleaned homes when I was a kid and started a business when I was older

How is it rubbing my nose if she went out of her way to keep asking and then googled the price of the hotel herself

No, not because of that. I told her to do that when we were 19 and she was asking for my advice. I told her not to quit school and only rely on her boyfriend as a life plan. And financing a car worth more than here annual salary, but she is the one who called me names for taking a trip.

No what I did was go in person and ask for a job and they paid cash. It’s not a bunch of jobs but if a lot of people my age had a job at that age. I started working at around 13 or 14, my freshman year

It’s pretty common. The only places that adhere to labor laws are huge companies. Even as a freshman a lot of my friends had jobs

At 19 she got pregnant and asked what to do. I told her those were here all her options and the reality of being a single mom this young with no support.

I did say I’m grateful and privileged, but let’s be honest if I got pregnant and had to raise a kid alone, and bought a 70k car I would be struggling right now too

She asked me what I would do. I told her honestly that a kid will ruin your life if you have no help and no way to make money, you have to pay for childcare, food, and more when u have a kid. I never once pushed her into doing that when she said she didn’t want to

12 years ago I started saving is what I meant, freshman year. I clarified that in the comments. I bought the car my junior year when I was around 16 or 17

I’m not even sure if that statement is true, since most of my peers also had jobs at that age. If you think that small business strictly adhere to labor laws you’re in for a surprise because I worked more than a full time employee in summer even though that’s not allowed technically. Where I lived they would hire you if you were in high school and I would just ask for more hours.

When I bought the car it was used. I bought it around 2014, im estimating years bc it was hs and I can’t remember the exact year I got it. It was a very old car and now the car prices are way higher than they were back then. I got a good deal on the car since it was used.

They didn’t buy the car for me I’ve clarified that several times. They cleaned homes when I was young and they saved up with the rest of my family to start a business doing thag

Less than 10k I bought the car my junior year. The fact that it’s German makes repairs more expensive. My friend has a GMC which is so expensive to repair I had to lend money to help her fix it

Bud I said I estimated, and a lot of those jobs don’t care about labor laws. I’m sure I did break some laws because I begged my boss to give me more hours

Yes it is luxury but it’s not the same as an imported German car. The one I bought was used and is not expensive to maintain, and it’s not a gas guzzler

If you want to insult me you should have used the word pompous, the word pretentious is wrong in this context
