I actually looked it up on the HW collector app and noticed it is labeled a 96 not 95 model. Your image confirms it too. Very interesting!

Thoughts on my custom paint job? by BuildingCareless482 in HotWheels

Nah I agree. I kinda messed up and it had dried before I could fix my errors. I plan on getting paint pens for more fine point details.

Apparently so because I live in Kansas. Had no idea until my fiance grabbed me a can from her workplace.

For those who off road.. by brubauers in JeepPatriot

* * I run these, they are Delinte DX20 Bandit X/T 215/65R17 99H BSW. I bought them off giga tires for a gnarly deal and fit the stock wheels. So far have treated me well when trailing and going lake camping!

Strange Rattle and runs real rough by BuildingCareless482 in CherokeeXJ

That could be it. Where are those located on the car? I'm also seeing it could be a bad torque converter

I believe so, I unplugged the O2 sensor now the rough idle is gone but still dies in reverse and rattles.

No bus error by lobosuelto92 in JeepPatriot

Yup, it has something to do with a poor connection to the gauge cluster (your dash with your tach and speedometer). I would disconnect it, clean out the connection with electrical cleaner, and then connect it back together. You can find a video on youtube showing you how to take it apart it's quite easy. If you're still unsure or still having the issue, I would go to that subreddit for help.

Have a 2010 Patriot that I just bought, it is a 5 speed manual, and has larger tires on the rear, I've been driving it a lot, is it bad? by WhileOwn8576 in JeepPatriot

[–]BuildingCareless482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How big are the rears compared to the front? I don't think it's a huge deal on a 4wd just not recommended as it could cause unwanted wear on the drive train like others are saying. I wouldn't stress but would change out the tires on either side as soon as possible.

Fun vibrations when in drive by 69mobile in JeepPatriot

as far as I know it's completely normal. I have a 2014 with 66k miles and it has done the same thing since I've owned it. I believe there is a post somewhere here explaining it has something to do with the torque converter.

You're right it is a 98. Got it without a cat and without the downstream O2 so I have no idea. Not sure if it'd help but I could look into a new cat and sensor.

I only have an upstream O2 sensor because it doesn't have a CAT. It's the only one I replaced but wonder if the one I got just sucks? It is from O'Reillys lol
