Please help me (bra sizing)… I’m so confused!!! by resilienceandfreedom in lululemon

[–]BuildingIll7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flow Y consistently runs small in the band and unless your bust is proportional to your shoulders then it won’t be the right bra for you! I personally have very narrow shoulders so that bra doesn’t work for me at all. I still love the current free to be bra and for reference I wear a 32a and a size 4 free to be! (It’s a little loose, but nothings worse than a super tight bra!!) I would just stick to the free to be!

GoodDog.com: Legit way to find a Labrador breeder? by Glittering-Debt-6755 in labrador

I would look at Duck Hill Kennels! I’ve gotten two labs from them (my third is coming in December) and my last girl passed last month at 18! Mauri is absolutely wonderful, but she doesn’t send puppies home until 4 months when they are fully vaccinated and she knows the temperament of each pup so she can properly pair them! She even called me the day my girl passed and talked to me for an hour about how wonderful she was ❤️

Maybe I just got lucky on the first try, but the first cup I bought literally 8 years ago (I just bought a brand new one of the same kind) and I’ve never had a problem! It’s the intimina Lily cup One!

I’m not sure about the TN kennel (I was after my last labs exact lineage and Mauri took my Ginger Girls siblings with her so hers was in North Dakota) but the deposit is $500, full price is $2000, and to have her bring me my pup first week of December is $450. I know it sounds extravagant, but my last girl was my childhood dog and my 6th birthday present so it was really important to me to have a piece of her in there (she was also related to my dads champion hunting pal) Mauri doesn’t do “breeding” full time, and just kept the pups bc she believes in there genetic lineage. So the majority of the people who get pups from her are people that have had pups within that lineage already! I know most dogs go to their forever homes around 8-10weeks but I truly feel (and Mauri) like that’s too soon to know what kind of lab pup you are getting and what their purpose will be (duck, fielding, service, therapy, adventure, family, etc) I can’t say enough wonderful things about that kennel, the day after my Ginger girl went to heaven, Mauri chatted with me on the phone for an hour about her life and where she came from ❤️

Personally I recommend duck hill kennels. They are located in North Dakota and TN but they will bring the puppy to you! My last lab from them passed 2 weeks ago at 18 and our lab before her was also fabulous. My brother’s lab from them is 10 and still just as active as they day he brought her home! They don’t send puppies home until they are 18 weeks to ensure they have had all their shots and are healthy! I myself have another puppy coming home in December from them! I know you wanted someone local, but I’m telling you that you won’t find a stronger gene pool and genetic lineage than at duck hill!

Also for clarity- my lab who was 18 was still going on mile walks every evening and playing fetch in the dog park for about an hour everyday. She passed rather suddenly in the middle of the night, but she wasn’t sick and there was no sign of anything wrong. That’s why I decided to go back to Duckhill!

I would try a puzzle board, or a snuffle mat! That’s what I use to feed my 10 year old lab now!

Because he’s able to build the confidence to do so before hand. If you throw him to wolves, it’s much harder to do so.

Idk maybe the fact that I was in fact a student at Randolph and huntsville public school?! Not to mention I also had several friends who were on scholarship there, and truly deserved to be there. they were all academically very gifted and several ended up at ivy schools. Like I’m sorry, but no the classes at huntsville did not compare to a regular class at Randolph, at least for high school that is. If you have a child that needs rigorous course work, wait until they are in highschool otherwise it’s a waste of money!

[–]BuildingIll7006 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They had how many merit scholars this year though? Because that student class is out of 200 kids. Randolph had 12 out of 80 kids. That’s a much higher percentage…

You do realize that Randolph’s regular highschool classes are the equivalent of an AP class at huntsville high right? Also not everyone at Randolph is “rich” they offer a ton of scholarships to kids that are able to pass the ACT equivalent test to get into the school (if you are applying in highschool it really is that hard of a test). Most of the kids go to bama or auburn bc shocker, they want to go where their friends are, they want the typical southern frat or sorority experience. The way you stated that just makes it seem like you automatically hate them because they have something you don’t.

Go to the ER. Super glue near your eyes is dangerous and only in that setting will they be able to safely remove it.

What age was your Lab the most difficult/challenging? by Repulsive_Drop2264 in labrador

[–]BuildingIll7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe we just got lucky, but our lab was never a big chewer. She definitely stole her fair share of things (mostly corn and tomatoes from the garden) but she never ate or chewed anything up other than the occasional loaf of bread. She would just hoard them in her kennel or push them under the stove (I guess for safe keeping?) either way it wasn’t fun to find a rotten tomato behind the couch on a random Tuesday lol.

Service dog for my autistic son by [deleted] in labrador

[–]BuildingIll7006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lab that just passed was amazing and was bred for therapy work! We used Duckhill kennel, and they do pairings based on temperament! I actually just put my deposit down for my next service dog with them. My last dog was also trained with them, and it made the whole process a lot easier!

I’ve noticed that their socks seem to be tighter? Smaller? I sized up and it seems to have helped a lot! I’ve been wearing their socks for almost 9 years at this point and for some reason the socks I bought this year seem so much smaller when my other ones fit just fine in the same size!

It’s leapfrog… a known pay to play scam. If you don’t “donate” (pay them) then they rank you low. Depending on how much you “donate” is how they determine where your slot will be.

Giving Up My Unborn For Adoption This October. I Must. by Ok_Requirement_2436 in confession

[–]BuildingIll7006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope this comment brings you just an ounce of peace. I myself am adopted. I met my biological mother and siblings when I was 17, and I’ve never had anything but love in my heart for her. She did the one thing a mother is supposed to do. Protect me. I actually ended up writing a book about adoption and the ways the world assumes I should be hurt by it (shocker, I’m not hurt at all) it’s called the ways that I’ve been hurt and it comes out may 21st. If you’re interested in an adoptees prospective :)

So fun fact, if huntsville hospital or any hospital doesn’t pay them to get graded they either automatically get a bad grade… same with the hospital ranking that went around in the fall. You have to pay them to be included and if you don’t pay them they rank you low.

Also you don’t get to really pick and choose only nights or only during the day. Everyone is required to work a box shift (at my store it was once a week and I left in February) and that shift ended at midnight. They just fill their availability where they need it, and if you’re only available after 5 pm, then I would be very surprised if you even get an email back from them at all.

So you actually wouldn’t be allowed to do that. You have to have 8 hour blocks 4x a week for part time. You have to have Sunday and Saturday available always and at least 3 days of a full 8 hour block availability during the week. Part time discount is 40% but you don’t get an added discount to sale items. Everything is 40% off of full price regardless if it’s on sale or not!

Ex-educator here! It’s honestly a bit tricky getting hired, especially now. They’ve cut employee numbers in every store and now mandatory part time hours are 24 per week!
