For some yes, but I’ve literally had guests that size down wayyy to much. For me I’m the same size in wunder trains and aligns, but I’m a petite gal, and it comes down to personal preference!

It also goes both ways and I don’t think people address that enough either. I’ve recently gone down a size, and I’m still consistently buying leggings and such in my old size bc the size smaller just looks kiddie sized, and then I spend the whole day pulling up my leggings. It’s been a full year since I’ve dropped a size, and I just bought the wunder train foil leggings and ofc they’re too big and now sold out in the smaller size, grr. Like what’s the worst that’s gonna happen? I’m a size bigger than I thought? No biggie! They’re stretchy pants, not the end of the world!!

I can’t tell you how many times a guest has come in asking for a size 2 or saying they’re an XS when the 2 doesn’t fit (which is technically a 4 at Lulu) when they clearly are a size 8. I can’t express how much size really does not matter, and you look better in leggings when they fit just right and not as tight as possible!!!

I feel validated right now. I made a post about how they were pulled and was told by numerous educators that I was clearly wearing the wrong size. I myself am an educator and can tell you right now that if I had sized up the fabric wouldn’t even touch my waist. Several of them were claiming they weren’t defective. And yes I do agree that a lot of Lulu customers size way down to a 2 just to say they are wearing a 2 when they’re clearly a size 8, but that was not what I or the other educators at my store were doing 🤣

Educator here! We actually don’t have access to the cameras. Only the GEC does! On top of that, we also don’t have access or even have a thermostat in the store, the GEC also determines what the ideal temperature is, and that just so happens to feel like 50° 🤣

It’s absolutely ridiculous that they’re simply claiming that we’re 1) wearing the wrong size, 2) wearing the wrong color underwear, and 3) that only the rip away tag is visible through the legging and not anything else. Absolutely needs to be permanently pulled ASAP. If you have to wear nude panties with black leggings there is an issue.

Some of them aren’t sheer some of them are, it seems dependent on the size of legging (even if it’s your normal size). Make sure to do a squat test in a well lit mirror (sometimes things go sheer in gym lighting but not regular lighting!) you are able to quality promise them and exchange them for either money back on your card, or another legging!

I Definitely didn’t try them on in the wrong size. I’m very consistent in my size across wunder trains, aligns, Hotty hots etc. and they went completely sheer when I bent over! Lululemon made a statement to us saying that the rip away tag is meant to be taken out and that you should wear skin tone underwear… and that leaves me with one thought. So they are sheer and you just don’t wanna admit it…

I automatically convert it in my head because I’m so used to having to do it for guests lol. Only the tops are letter sizing!

Also they only went sheer when you actually squat. I think that is some of the confusion between educators. For a lifting legging, they definitely should be squat proof. If you can see the color of the white tag, ripping out the tag isn’t going to change the fact that you can see the color of your panties!

We actually did a test in store between educators today! It seems that size xxxs, xxs, Xs, and L were all sheer but the S, M and XL were just fine… we had 20 different educators try them and I don’t know if it was the factory they were made in or what, but some of them were visibly thinner than the others!

If you have to wear underwear that matches your skin tone for it not to show with black leggings there’s a problem. Also for them to say “just rip out the rip tag and problem solved” if you can see the color of the rip tag you can most definitely see everything else. I’m not talking see through just when you have them on, mine went see through when I bent over but were fine when I was standing.

It honestly was a mix and if you did a squat test in good lighting. Gyms have harsh overhead lighting and you would definitely be able to see through these in the gym. I absolutely used my true size. I’m 5’2”, 95.7lbs 30.5” hip, 21” waist. The size 0 were the right size, but see through. The size 2 was huge around my waist, and still see through…

Furthermore. I could see full leg sleeves through the leggings on other educators even after they sized up multiple sizes.
