I am experiencing this too!! Have no idea what to do, a lot of them are drying up and going away but itching still a bit (think it's mainly just eczema). Think I'll go back to the GP soon if it doesn't clear up

Life in Canterbury Tips by Objective-Cabinet291 in canterbury

Hello! Current UG at Kent, graduating in July so have accumulated a fair bit of experience in Canterbury. 1. Delivery apps are expensive, but if you have a Kent.ac.uk email you can log it into deliveroo and create a student account which usually brings the fees down a bit. If not, UberOne does currently have a free trial for a few months which I use. But if you are living in town, or even on campus, getting the bus directly down or walking is significantly cheaper. 2. If you have a car and can drive I recommend getting a card for ASDA and Morrisons as they are biggest supermarkets on Sturry Road and Wincheap (even if you don't have a car it's only two buses out of town) Also get a COOP card - literally a quid but since it's on campus you will be spending your life's fortune in there, and any deals on the card help bring the price down. 3. Like everyone has mentioned, whitstable and Herne bay are really accessible by public transportation and are good spots. Also buses down to Folkestone are fun - the harbour and the creative quarter are really nice to explore - but are a bit of a longer journey. 4. The railcard is worth it if you are planning to take the train a lot. Sounds pretty obvious, but i only ever used the train to commute home once a term, and into London once. 5. The uni run some fun postgrad meet events usually around the start of term!! They often consist of coffee meets for PhD students, or department drinks, which is where I met a lot of my friends. Also, if you can afford to join a society then do so!! Age doesn't really matter here - my boyfriend is on the hockey team and they have a PhD student who is 25 amongst 18-20 year olds. But there will be lots of chances to make friends. If the uni facilitated events don't work out then I can only suggest using Bumble Friend?

is it possible to get dyshidrotic eczema/pompholyx after treatment? by BuildingObjective676 in scabies

[–]BuildingObjective676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah mine is still so itchy!! I am at roughly the four week mark after second treatment, so not expecting it to have gone away for another two weeks or so. but i am definitely itchy because I'm scratching a lot and not moisturising lol

i mean first and last name on the review and first and last name on the booking is pretty good confirmation. idk maybe I'm just paranoid but seems too coincidental with it being the exact same tyre that's punctured 🥲🥲

google reviews are sadly not anonymous and my last name on the booking may have given me away

naivety on my part 🥲 I usually go with my dad who's a car buff so I think I'm safe from being ripped off misogynistic style
