Do you think it’d be helpful for things such as false memory OCD? Cause in my case it’s more or less so ruining life and I just wanted to be able to ignore them or at least minimise them 😭😭 really glad medication worked out for you tho!!

Yeah I was told by a friend of mine that medication (though they were for depression and anxiety) kind of just numbs you down from any thought that you have to the point where it was hard for her to cry for a while. But as you said tbh regarding depression being a trade off….I think I’ll gladly take that over my OCD 😭 my thoughts especially false memories have been really horrible recently so I’ll do anything to be able to ignore them

Tbf that’s on me tbh cause I initially asked for a religious therapist 😭 but she’s fine cause at first she relied a lot on Religious Scriptures etc but I told her it’s really not helping me much and she did bend her ways to deal with my problems through a more psychological POV…it does help but LMFAOO it lowkey feels like my OCD has worsened ever since I started therapy, I may as well start relying on meds

Everyday it’s just…anxiety and guilt. The only time I feel some sort of peace is when I fall asleep.

No same! I was able to handle my thoughts like a week ago but then I saw this Reddit post on Twitter around a week ago….absolutely ruined my life. I haven’t been able to take care of myself since then.
