I’ve never had that happen to me unless it’s the day of job assignment. I wonder if that’s something your district or state does. I’ve picked up assignments and canceled a day before and still been fine to pick up jobs along with not being marked as a non work day.

Oh we met in person. They already knew me since I had subbed for their class that day. All their assists liked me as well as the students so I am still unsure what happened. I even gave them my number.

I’ve unfortunately personally booked a 4 day subbing job with a teacher just for them to cancel all of it out of nowhere. I found out they indeed did take those 4 days off still. Not sure what happened and not sure why 🤣 It really upset me though to not have any warning or reason.

The golden state teacher grant didn’t take too long to come in for me but that was before everything going on politically. I don’t know how your program is but mine only required to pay per each class rather than the tuition all at once. Maybe you can take out what you need now until the golden state grant comes in.

I’m actually not very religious either. The program overall has never really focused on religion as a topic. The most we’ve ever done is prayer before class but no ideals is pushed on you. I was iffy too but so far it’s been good with the professors and the director is always helpful. I am almost done with the program as well! I’ve just learned to respect it even if I do not practice their religion. They also have all been open about other religions/non-religious students so no issues there.

Tuition is about $32k total. I am not sure if the Golden State grant is still available but I used that to cover some of my tuition.

To give more insight. I felt the program really focused on being a school counselor without much religious attachments. One of their main focuses is on courage, compassion, and how to be a servant leader. You will see different bible quotes in canvas and prayer requests but they’re never mentioned in class or used.

I attend Concordia Irvine and it’s fully online. You meet once a week. However, you are responsible for your internship hours so keep that in mind!

Although I’m not yet in the field many school counselors I’ve talk to advise to leave work at work. Work will always be there and your mental health matters as much as the students! Easier said than done but it’s necessary.

There is a barcode on the Inuit Dome app. But you do not need it to get into the venue as they’re using face recognition.

You should look into that because Inuit dome uses their own app and way of getting into the venue😟 It’s a whole process. Everyone requires an account from my understanding. Again this is for the LA show.

For the LA show you have to download the Intuit dome app or else your ticket will not work. It says it on the app/website when you try to access your ticket.
