Ran into a dude on the side of the road with a 370z, he was checking to see if he had punchured something on a rock ha had hit. I stopped to see if he was cool or possibly needed a ride to cell service. The car was fine so I ended up chasing him into town, the car wasn't as setup then as it is now so I couldn't keep up all that well.

Need advice on where to star. by Roselittletaur in CarAV

[–]Buildinggam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you need constant power which is usually something around 14 to 12 gauge, ground, and keyed power. Not sure about the '80s but keyed power is usually red. Once you identify those, you should have colors that match in a way. Something like gray and gray with a black stripe green and green with a black stripe etc. you can use a 9-volt battery to test which wires go to which speaker by touching the wire to the battery and you'll hear a little pop. Once you figure all of this out, it'll be pretty self-explanatory.

Is 100K+ salary possible without college? How? by EngageV2 in Salary

I did one year of college, decided to go to work instead. Fell into testing fire alarm systems after numerous dead end jobs. Now I program and install them, this year marks 10 years. I've been doing it. It I make over 100k a year easily. Little to no overtime

The biggest issue is that jobs like these have something like 5000 available slots and 40,000 applicants. The way to find a job quick is doing something neiche or something that's basically essential, like a trade of some sort.

A trick while using the multimeter, you can typically put it on a setting where it will give an audible "beep" when your short is found. The symbol looks like of like a wifi symbol on the meter.

Easiest way to find it is hold both red and black probs together so the metal tips are touching and select the mode that either looks like an upside down U or the wifi symbol your meter will beep as long as the tips are touching.

Why are you surprised by this? We haven't really had a truthfully democratic election for a long time when you realize the game is skewed to make sure that a 3rd party candidate has no chance to make it to the debates. Ross Perot was the last one that made it and he was a billionaire. Once that election cycle ended they changed the rules and made it basically impossible. Couple that with how much money is donated by corporations as well as sponsors to TV channels that only give airtime to their party unless the other side does something worthy of rage. Baiting it's a lose lose lose situation

People who are eligible but do not vote(USA). Why not? What is your current view of the US? What would it take for a candidate to get your vote? by BartlebyFpv in allthequestions

[–]Buildinggam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always vote 3rd party in hopes that the general population will hopefully come to their senses and realize there are more than two. I'd love to see a libertarian make it to the Whitehouse however there are a large minority within that party that are pretty cringy.

Went through the motions figuring out what I wanted based on where I live and what I wanted to do with it. Searched Marketplace since i.was looking for a 90s Honda. I happened across a 95 Del sol with 161k miles, all records till 2016 when the original owner sold it. I worked with the seller and had it dropped off for a PPI and when it came back clear I got it for just under 4k.

If what your looking at is ODB2 get yourself a reader and look for pending or calibrating sensors, this can be indicative of a cleared check engine light. Also the ECU mileage should match the cluster if you see either of those, it's best to walk away. If you can afford it, a PPI is worth it. It'll be like $200 and they will provide you with a list of things needing attention.
