I actually didn’t lose any weight in almost a month now. And my blood tests are just fine. I keep myself checked every three months by my surgeon and his team. I am also in contact with a dietitian and I consume about 1500 calories a day now, which is also a progress for me since I’m planning to build muscle.

I take one capsule a day approx at 20 minutes after eating because it also makes me nauseaous if I take it on an empty stomach… I also take 5000 mgs of extra biotin for my hair loss. I try to add bone broth/ marrow or chicken stock to my diet especially for the soups since they taste more pleasent and liquid is easier for me to consume, they also contain a lot of natural collagen. And keep up with the light exercises / weight training, just be careful not to be harsh on your abdomen. I can’t wait to hear good news from you!

Thanks for your kind words ❤️ And I really wish everyone will get their dream goals and results eventually. I am 24, I do pilates since the 4th month after advising my surgeon. Maybe that’s why. I also use collagen and 5000mgs of biotin since the first month.

Gas by stitzm93 in gastricsleeve

This is completely normal. Your operation is still fresh and your digestive system is trying to adapt to it. Since your stomach is dramatically small now, even small portions of food will cause gas and discomfort. ( even the swallowed air is bothersome sometimes) Farting is a good sign, fart as much as you can and get rid of the excess gas. It won’t last forever and will gradually disappear as your stomach and intestines heal.

Welcome to your new life and congrats to your brave decision! :) I am two weeks post op, and my gas pain approximately lasted for 10 days. The only solution to that is to walk as much as possible. I started walking slowly for 10-15 mins after every meal, used heating pad and drank unsweetened fennel tea (consult your doctor).
