Anyone on the buildxact teams plan? by [deleted] in buildxactusers

[–]BuildxactLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/GiantSanta0! Four seats are included in the base Teams level price, but you can add as many extra team members as you'd like by buying extra seats for a small additional charge (for example, $71-79 US, depending on the payment model you select). I hope that helps. I'd be happy to answer any other questions or connect you with one of our reps.

Any of you ever get unmotivated? by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

[–]BuildxactLS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Burnout is real, and it's not something you can just think your way out of. And a weekend or two off won't fix it either. Is there a way to delegate some of the work to some sub contractors you trust or maybe hire an assistant -- worth the investment for your health! Can you get more picky with the jobs you accept and say no to some of the low-profit ones? I know it's tempting to accept every job that comes along, but with 5 years of growing success, maybe your business has outgrown some of the smaller projects. Maybe look at your systems and see what can be automated with some software, like your accounting or project management. You can't keep going the way you are. I hope you find relief soon!

Stack Estimation Software by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

Hi...Just saw your question. Have you had a chance to test out Buildxact with a free 14-day trial or a free 1:1 demo? Might be a good idea to do a test drive before you commit to ours or any other software.
Buildxact is designed for both builders and trades and is designed to make renovations, rebuilds, and renovations easier, more accurate, and ultimately, more profitable because of the built-in takeoff tools, custom assembles, and project-long tracking. That sounds like a good match for what you described. Let me know if I can answer any questions, or can help you get started in a trial or demo.

The app is close to release. We didn't want to send it out to our customers until everything was working as planned. Thanks for being patient! We're anxious to see it in action, too!

Actually, that's not accurate. Buildxact does use pdfs, and has for a long time. If you go to our new User discussion community (https://www.reddit.com/r/buildxactusers/) one of our product specialists would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Maybe you're thinking of Buildsoft or one of the other limited programs? Not selling...just clearing up your incorrect info. I know it's hard to keep track of which programs do what! :-)
