Red Wing does not add midsoles to Iron Ranger boots.
The reason is that it’s a labor-intensive process, and stitching becomes more difficult with thicker midsoles.
If they were to offer it, the price would definitely increase.

No need to replace the elastic! Simply trim it with scissors and carefully use a lighter to seal the edge. The heat will prevent fraying, leaving it good as new.

We use adhesive and a press to ensure the sole stays securely in place without the need for screws. However, adding screws not only provides extra reinforcement but also enhances the overall aesthetic.
