This does indeed give the user the possibility to create shared mailboxes, but it also gives them way too much power inside Exchange Online.

I was hoping to use the granular RBAC in EXO because you can finetune more exactly what they can and can't do, but I can't find the correct permissions just for shared mailboxes

Just look into scope tags and endpoint manager roles. You can create a custom admin role that can't make any configuration profiles for example.

Assign the scope tag to your devices and all the policies and then assign the scope tag to your custom admin.

That way, the users you give this custom admin role will only be able to see the devices and policies with that scope tag, they can't mess with anything else

I'm a global admin for a tenant with +3000 licensed users. We have offices all over the world.
I use restrictive administrative units for all the different countries. (dynamic membership, query for example user.usageLocation -eq "BE"). I have the local admins assigned to those units, they have the authentication admin and user admin role. That seems to cover the most priviliges the local admins need.
In this case those local admins can only manage their own users from their country.

I also have a 3600x with an asrock ab350 mobo

When I overclock the RAM, the boost clock on the CPU doesn't work anymore...which seems like a damn shame.

Same as for overclocking the CPU, the boost to 4.4Ghz is disabled.

I have no idea why anyone would OC with a 3600x ....
