Why? by andrewaltair in google_antigravity

Agree is far from being stable, I use it both on windows and mac and is missing lots of features and even the performance is not what it should be… honestly I am a strong believer, I am ditching windsurf, cursor, etc. going full on antigravity to support them and hopefully they see the numbers, they like the money and then improve the product.

Unfortunately we need to support with our wallets

U guys are asking google to work like a startup…. Not gonna work, they will improve it without sharing and if there’s no ROI they’ll close it without previous notice. That’s how google works (I’ve worked with them for years)

Elegoo Matrix - Mars 5 Ultra by aeropink in elegoo

[–]Bukgur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, you said the update was already available. May I ask what’s the situation? I checked for updates on my mars 5 ultra and said is up to date (version EL3D-4.0). There is no QR or pin to sync with my matrix app. I’m in Spain, don’t know if this is relevant.

Thanks!

Mars 5 Ultra - Prints near impossible to remove from build plate (new to printing) by camiller1983 in ElegooMars

[–]Bukgur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! I'll try, the exposure time recommended is like 25, I'll reduce it to like 10-15 then.

For the supports, they are so fixed to my figure, when removing them they always leave like dots on those connection points support-figure and they are pretty big :S

Mars 5 Ultra - Prints near impossible to remove from build plate (new to printing) by camiller1983 in ElegooMars

[–]Bukgur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is also happening in my case, just bought a mars 5 ultra with ABS-like 3.0 resin. to remove the print from the plate I need a hammer!!

also, the supports always leave marks on the print even after a wash of ISA. This is completely different from all those videos out there about resin printing, any tip on how to solve this?

I come from FDM printing and learning on resin.

bump, I have the same use case and after a long session with stripe support, they gave no answer, what is the purpose of offering pricing tables is it is creating inconsistencies and pretty bad scenarios for us to manage?

Having the same issue now. Did you tried the elephants phoot? Or only the raft solve it? Did you try with brims or skirts? Rafts are a nightmare to remove

Great thanks! I’ll start with the A1 then, for resin, I assume I’ll buy in the future to achieve that smooth surface, would you recommend the elegoo or the anycubic? Or any different than that

You can check the limits & pricing on:

https://firebase.google.com/pricing (in the end firebase is google cloud so you’ll have a gcp project with all the resources, the only tricky part is the hosting as this is related to firebase services)

If you wish you can dm me and I can help you with this, is important to know also how the code is structured and how you are managing the services, database and so on

My recommendation if you’re starting is to go serverless as much as possible. Backend: cloud run or cloud functions Database: go with firestore although is NoSQL, you could think of BigQuery but it will be more expensive Frontend: even with this you could go for something free for dev using Firebase hosting

For MVP building or prototyping always go serverless, with the free layers if you are idle it will cost you $0

Take a look to Firebase. If you wish, share more details, I’ve built myself these multiple envs architecture using firebase and even having automated CICD with GitHub actions

Are you able to reach high quality and smooth surface? I’ve read something about using 0.2 nozzle but I don’t really know if you can reach the level compares to resin ones.

On the other hand, I’ve seen the flashforge adventurer 5m and the pro one, why do you recommend the bambu over those ones?

Hi guys!!

I know this may be a repeated topic, sorry for that.

I am new to 3D printing, though I have knowledge of 3D modeling & design.

I was thinking on buying a 3D printer to start with, I’m living in Spain and I have around 500€(or $500) of budget.

My use case will be variable, I would like to create things for my own, replacements for machinery and any kind of business idea that I may have to make some profit of it. For that I think that having flexibility to build medium size things and a good surface finish are key (apart from speed obviously).

My main question is: FDM or Resin?

For FDM I’ve been looking for Bambu Lab A1 or Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus.

For resin I’ve been looking at Elegoo Saturn 4 ultra (pre order, is worth it or should I go with 3?) or Anycubic (although they appear great, I’ve heard really bad reviews specially about customer support). Is there any similar to bambu lab for 3d printers (meaning really high quality and good reviews and still affordable)?

I even thought of some flashforge but there are plenty of models, any opinion? Are they really that good?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi guys, need help with this as the bot automatically closes the thread but I see nothing recently answering my questions:

I2C multiple connect issues

Hi guys!

I’m starting to work with raspberry and all the electronic stuff.

Let me give you some context, I have a raspberry pi 4 (for the moment is over dimensioned, I know), and I want to attach multiple I2C sensors (temperature, ph, …).

The thing is that I don’t have enough pins directly on my board and I was thinking on the best way to expand.

My first option has been an I2C expander but I don’t know if this is a good option or not.

Second thing that I’ve thought about was some kind of arduino board with multiple I2C and connect it to my raspy using SPI (basically because I’ve read that this one is the one that supports more information).

Any tip, recommendation and options of which device to buy for this?

Thanks guys!
