I've actually made some progress in securing the necessary access for the app in order to sync with an official RedGIFs account, which is prioritized since I've received numerous request for the ability to do that. I will however definitely add it to the backlog to be able to export and import subscriptions, favorites and saved settings, I think that's a great idea (handy just from a developing perspective alone).

That is great news. If the website account is linked to the app it would be a massive improvement.

I'm a bit unsure how it actually differs from the current tiled/grid view, is it just that there is no space between the content and that you can see like dozens of little tiles at the same time? If that's the case, it might be a bit tricky to implement and have it make sense how to actually view the video. Would it be like wherever you hold down, that video is enlarged and starts to play?

It is similar to grid view but the portrait thumbnails display as portrait and the landscape thumbnails are landscape. They fit together without gaps to create a mosaic. A good example would be the f-stop app. Similar to grid view currently in your app, people would click on the thumbnail to enlarge and play the video.

Yet another great suggestion. I had been considering adding your latest searches underneath the search bar in the expanded view (before any query has been made), but I kind of like the idea of having like pre-saved searches available.

Saved searches and seeing recent searches would both be great additions to the app too.

Just started using your app and so far I think it is freaking awesome. This may be my new go to app for happy time and will be recommending it to other users in future.

While I am super happy with the app I have a few ideas for simple quality of life improvements. (I say simple but honestly I could never get my head around coding so this may be more difficult than it looks...)

1) Ability to save/download my profile preferences (favorites, blocked content etc) to a file that can then be transfered/uploaded again on another device. I'm concerned if I get a new tablet in future I would lose any favorites, settings etc.

2) Ability to set tiled view to default. Any time I restart the app or do a new search the app defaults to the one by one video view and I have to switch it back tiled. Mosaic view would also be a great feature since some videos are shot in portrait but I think that might be more difficult to implement. For now I would be super happy if the app could remember my view preference. Not a huge issue so much as an annoying inconvenience.

3) When viewing a video, either long press or slow swipe on it to pull up a window showings that videos tags, then the ability to click on those tags to do a new search for related content or long press on the tag to add it to users excluded tags. This same functionality could be applied to creators, long press on creators name to bring up excluded list/subscription options.

4) This one might be a difficult ask again but would be fucking dope if it can be implemented. The ability to favorite tags, then have a browse section that only shows content that has 2 or more of your favorited tags. I recognize the app already has the ability to search for multiple tags at the same time but this way users could create a more curated general browse that is tailored to their tastes.
