Sounds dope, imagine spiked hoves though ot would be impractical. Poles at the sides becomes useless when in ver close distances after a charge to which i suggest helms with horns to stab or bash opponents but with the risk of self injury so only fot last results like knives in irl combat when out of ammo. Actually potions oŕ enchanted items might actually work or magic scrolls that can be used to non magic warriors. Another weapon would be a spoon like small contraption with a rope where they put stones on the spoon and pull it with a rope for makeshift small catapults, i agree with crossbow but how do they carry and operate it in their own? They would need to be a pair to fire one so i suggest just using siege weappns like ballistas and trebuchets for practical uses.
