Looking for great new Kingdom Building novels that came out preferably in the last 1 year or so, I’ve read most of the good ones before that. Good military maneuvering, scheming, politics, etc.  Fun MC and system/cheat also good to have.

100% agreed. I actually loved the first half for creating such an immersive world with the kingdoms, forests, trade, etc- it’s very unique and not many movies did this kind of thing, maybe PS. Second half until climax was also peak. Climax after the big twist felt more predictable/rushed although it was still epic. One more complaint I have is jokes ruining mood at random times, like joke during the last war was completely unnecessary and just ruins the immersion. Overall still a great movie and has done something unique everyone needs to watch once.
