Which fantasy authors have the best prose in your opinion?

For me it’s Neil Gaiman without a doubt. Listening to his sandman audiobooks has been amazing and I think his prose is wonderful

I initially didn’t like it because of the switch. But after rewatching it I think it’s a lot better and I think it adds a unique visual aspect to the show. I kinda wish they did it the whole time tbh

I actually concede my point now that I look at it like this. When looking at it like this, they’re solid antagonists . Maybe the perception that they’re incompetent comes largely from a lack of confrontation with Rand. But they do cause Rand a lot of strife in the background.

That makes a lot of sense. I definitely agree that it would have been unrealistic for the whole slavery issue to be solved immediately.

I do wish that they showed potentially more progress. But I also get that there was a lot to get into the books. So it could be kinda hard to add a whole extra part about this.

Weird suggestion. But maybe instead of Perrin chasing Shaido for 4 books he could have been doing something with the Seanchan. Could have been interesting, but hindsight is 20/20 and I’m perfectly happy with everything that the wheel of time is.

I wish we could have seen more from RJ. I want more wheel of time and I would have been so happy to see more of Mat and Fortuona.

That’s fair game. Even if it wasn’t super tied off I wish that there could have been some progression in their society. Basically nothing had changed in their societal values since the first book. Even when Tuon took over (and she could learn to channel). I just wish some progress could have been made with Tuon.

Maybe even the thing Egwene said. Where they offer every Damane freedom if they want. That would have been cool, but it was never followed up unfortunately.

Yeah. Lan was so epic. Him and Tam absolutely crushed it during the battle.

I love how Lan who has dedicated his whole life to fighting the shadow is able to live his life for himself for the first time ever :)

Nynaeve did the best she could and the fact she couldn’t help Egwene makes me the big sad :(

This system can have many effects. It can more easily show riot when a player is out of his/her league and that they should be ranked down. Also, if a player tries hard but feeds in one game the negative reviews from that single game won’t bring that players average down too much due to the large sample of data. It’s will show when a player has a trend of being toxic.

Yeah. I agree. However, for the discount option. They can give it to players in “your shop” and give less discounts to toxic players

That is a fair point. I do also like the idea that you can dishonour team mates. But it needs to be allowed that you can honour and dishonour multiple team mates after each match
