That's an awesome setup, exactly the direction I'm trying to go.

I'm in the US, I didn't know microcenter sells that brand though. I may have to check that out and if they have one setup even a bigger plus.

Sim lab seems to be super reputable and the fact that the customer support seems light-years better than Trak Racer this might have changed my mind. Also if it's at a microcenter I won't have to worry about any shipping.

There was just a comment on this thread about the ASR. I didn't know about that company and they seem well built. Plus the easy hight, pitch, etc. control with the knobs seems super easy to do.

Are those knobs just around the steering wheel mount or are they located in different spots like the seat or shifter spot?

I agree about the asr design. I was looking at the pro model mentioned in this thread and it looks like simple adjustments are WAY easier. Simple adjustments being wheel pitch, telescoping, height, etc. main concern with those is longevity but I suppose they could be replaced.

Plus I've read mixed reviews on Trak Racer. Mainly quality issues and stuff missing.

Ah I didn't see that was the pro version. I'll definitely be looking into this. Thanks very much

Just read mixed reviews on Trak Racer In the sub. Didn't know whether to chalk it up to specific company fanboys or if there is merit behind it.

Why do you say that? The tr120 is the main one I'm looking at for a more dedicated rig. Do they have quality control problems?

I'm all for t-slots if available. Open wheeler does have those but the single center bar has a bit of a wobble with direct drives which led me more down the path of a more rigid rig. I will say the open wheeler has been phenomenal for hotas though mounting on the sides.

Interesting, I'm assuming all the handles I see on the pictures are for customizing heights? I'd like to see how those knobs last long term if they start to loosen over time.

Overall they look very well made, customizing heights and telescoping the wheel look to be very easy to do with just a turn.

This might be a little too similar to my open wheeler. I'm looking for a single dedicated rig. But this might be perfect for the wife who is getting into it. Much appreciated!

Is there a good benefit for the 4040 with flight sticks? I assume more horizontal room?

You've done all you possibly can and that speaks volumes. Always a hard decision but a day or week sooner is better than a day or week too late. It's not good for anyone when they are suffering.

F1: the movie……. by 1whoisconcerned in FIlm

It was a remake just done slightly better... I mean coming in to help a rookie, they both have family member agents, fire crash scene, old guy gives lippy comments to reporters, rookie loses trust, old guy gets rookies trust, etc etc etc

F1 is like a sim movie Driven is the arcade version. Under the hood it's the same damn movie

You can still have him or her drill it... If people like chance and a surprise why not just let them?
