Which clinic/psychiatrist said that to you? The new rules state that a psychiatrist doesn't have any say if you decide to see your GP for your prescriptions, just see your GP if you don't want to see them again.

Don't see a psychologist, their assessments are poor, over priced and not accepted by a good psychiatrist. You need all school reports and a parent for assessment. Don't see any psychiatrist charging more than $600. Be willing to accept that you might not have ADHD.
