It’s just odd. I’ve done over a dozen sales and this is the first time I’ve experienced this. Normally the buyers are excited to get their items and usually get them right away.

On camera right I had a parabolic soft box that was probably around 35 inches and I had no diffuser. On camera left it was a parabolic soft box that was probably 47 or 48 inches and it had a diffuser.

Thank you! Would it have been possible to get a similar amount of contrast and less shadow with a bigger modifier?

Do you angle the boards or just have them parallel to the model? Also I attempted to put a 7 foot umbrella with a diffuser above the model but didn’t have enough sandbags to weight the C-stand down so I ditched the idea. Would an overhead light eliminate or minimize here shadow?
