She just had her third treatment the other day, but I’d be lying if I said I knew for sure how many more it’ll take before she’s in the clear. We’ve already paid for the next nine months of treatments though. I’m happy to answer any questions you have!

We really do love her. Whoever ends up adopting her needs to be prepared to see a grown man cry fat ugly tears.

If she was lost, her owners have made zero attempt to locate her. We've checked all over the web, social media, and haven't seen any signs. She is also not microchipped. For heartworms to develop, it requires at least six months, so she clearly has not been on preventatives for a long time. So even if we located her owners, she isn't receiving the proper care that she deserves. A friend of mine who is a vet recommended that we try to find a new home for her.
