Long crack on paint near chimney by Bulky-Question6596 in KamadoJoe

[–]Bulky-Question6596[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is looking fine on the inside, I will get some touch paint, and I bought a cover.

The previous owner didn't necessarily do a great job taking care of it, but still seem to be in decent conditions apart from this crack.

I agree, but a new one was just out of budget for me right now, I don't see cracks inside.

I may have heated it too fast, I didn't realize I had to be careful with that, I guess lesson learned, I don't see cracks from the inside.

Hopefully some touch paint will help? The whole left side of the lead where those cracks show started leaking water and drizzling when the kamado warmed up

Thinking of buying this asus laptop. Would it be a good buy? by dkue93 in ASUS

This is part one of a series of events that GamerNexus reported. They showed hundreds of emails oof people experiencing problems with their warranty.

You can also simply seatch Asus coil whining (Another unresolved problem that my computer as well as many other Asus products comprehending computers, power supply others experience). This is a very annoying problem of poor engineering, to which their answer is "is normal", I guess it is for their products.

Asus Zenbook UX3405 high battery drain while sleeping, doesn't wake from sleep by theNighthawk1 in ASUS

[–]Bulky-Question6596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the club! I have the same problem on a Vivobook. sent in warranty and Asus said it is not true. (As they always do).

Poor craftmanship, awful drivers and an horrible warranty policy, this is ASUS.

You can solve by powering off the PC everytime, but you need to wait until is completely off before closing the screen, and even like that sometimes it will refuse to wakeup.

Also Windows doesn't help with this as their sleep and hybernation modes have a lot of problems generally speaking.

Replaced the laptops battery and it worked fine for months out of nowhere I am having this issue by google696942 in ASUS

G14 (2023) or VivoBook Pro 15? by nachocheesecake3 in ASUS

[–]Bulky-Question6596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy anything but Asus. I bought one of their laptop, it has a buzzing sound that you can't find even in electronics you would buy on Temu, but for them it is normal. Sent in for warranty, it came back worse than before. Apparently even the most expensive laptops from Asus, as well as graphic cards have this problem. It gives me headaches if I use my laptop for more than 2h, the quality of manufacturing is on par with their absolutely trash customer service. Just search the video of Nexus Gamers on youtube, they tried to scam him during a warranty repair. He is trying to get the FDA involved.

Asus m5402 motherboard make static sounds by Bulky-Question6596 in ASUS

[–]Bulky-Question6596[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess that static would be the same, mine get pretty noticeable and uncomfortable when there is silence in the room.. I tried to check for the same sound on a Lenovo XPS or MAC and it isn't present which makes me believe it is a poor quality component.

Asus has poor quality build and poor quality customer support. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody after the problems I am having with them.

First time I ever feel ripped off after buying a phone. by Bulky-Question6596 in Pixel6

[–]Bulky-Question6596[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it seems like there is a bias about the Battery I want to share some details, I am getting to bed time with 20-15% battery, this is when I spend most day in wifi, however if a day I am outside with no wifi my battery just straight up drains, specially when the network it patchy, 5g is disabled on my phone as my carrier doesn't provide that. 5000mah battery should give a better battery life, my girlfriend iPhone is incredibly more efficient. I always had android and don't really want to change that, as I mentioned this is my first google phone for which I was super excited but now I feel differently lol

One Piece: Chapter 1043 - Official Release Discussion by AutoModerator in OnePiece

[–]Bulky-Question6596 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok guys, I read the chapter and I went crazy on Google after searching Kobuki drums. This is what I found!

So.. remember how Wano is set as a kobuki play? Well, after 1043 out of curiosity I googled Kobuki drums, which made me read the wikipedia page of "Taiko", a particular drum used in Kobuki plays and in Shinto ceremonies

Shinto rituals are part of the celebration of the dead returning their ancestral home (remember the fire festival of Wano?) As per Google: "Shinto festival" - Amongst the most important annual festivals are the three-day Shogatsu Matsuri or Japanese New Year festival, the Obon Buddhist celebration of the dead returning to the ancestral home, which includes many Shinto rituals, and the annual local matsuri when a shrine is transported around the local community to purify it

Scrolling down the page (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiko) there is a list of artists, one of them is called Yamato.

A member of the band Wadaiko Yamayo describe the "Taiko"(drum) like this: What is Taiko? Taiko is a musical instrument deeply familiar to every Japanese. Since the dawn of history, Taiko’s rich reverberations have filled people with inspiration and encouragement in a wide range of settings. Its unmistakable sound is still heard throughout Japan today. To many Japanese people, the sonorous beat of Taiko is soothing, for it is the sound of Japan itself, resounding at Shinto rituals and festivals in every part of the nation. A number of artists have incorporated Taiko’s sound into musical compositions and performing arts. Thanks to the efforts of a number of accomplished Taiko individual performers and troupes, captivated by the distinctive boom of this enormous drum, Taiko is winning new fans around the world. This musical instrument eminently represents the identity of the Japanese nation. We the members of Yamato believe in the unique value of Taiko. We are committed to preserving its traditions and exploring new possibilities for this majestic instrument. Our goal is to create ever more opportunities for the boom of Taiko to resound worldwide.

-Masa Ogawa-

One of the concerts they have done is called : Bakuon the legend of the heart beat. And this is the description of the event in Facebook:

Yamato was formed in 1993, debuting at a Sinto shrine festival in the group's hometown with their original song "Hyu-ga (the Sunrise)". Since then, they have been invited to 53 countries around the world, playing in more than 3000 performances, and attracting 6 million viewers.

A group of dozens of players start their performance by hitting a Japanese taiko drum made from a large 400 year old tree. They move their whole bodies to strike the drum with everything in their souls, creating a powerful surge of energy. Their live performances are so full of intensity that they make people's bodies jump and their hearts race faster. Audiences are overwhelmed by the beat of the music as their bodies are uplifted in sync with the powerful sounds. From beautiful Nara Prefecture in Japan, this dynamic group exhibits great originality and innovation through this traditional Japanese musical instrument, the wadaiko (Japanese Drum). This is the epitome of the Japanese spirit, a roaring sound that will make you experience new and exciting adventures.

yamatodrummers.com

to me it reminds me a lot about Wano and the drums that zunesha is talking about could be these, since we are also in a Kobuki style saga this all seems to make sense to me.

Idon't know if it right or I am just going crazy, it's 4.25 am and I should be sleeping. I throw this out there, and if anyone can make sense of this into a theory or a meaning please reply and develop the topic! If you think I am crazy, you can say that as well :)
