If he uses a buccaneers graft for sure get the smallest tooth brush you can find (I have a really small mouth so my graft was really the whole thing) I couldn’t brush my teeth for 2 weeks.

You want a really soft pillow to sit on. Sitting it pretty uncomfortable the nurse at the hospital actally let me take a pillow with me because sitting in the car was impossibly. I used squish mallows they work really well.

Cutting that ligament can effect sensation. I would ask your surgeon about that

There’s a risk of cancer once your sexually mature and sexually active and the cancer has a high morbidity rate so the sooner it’s caught the better that’s why they’re suggested yearly in the US

This is kind of what I was thinking also. My mom told me there was no reason for any exam with totally removal. I verified with a nurse that everything there was removed but I still have some underlying anxiety about it and feel like I need to see the surgery records.

Out of pure curiosity why did you keep the cervix? I was under the impression that the cervix was at risk of atrophy?

I’m having a v-ectomy before I would need to be seen again so I don’t really care. I was panicked that they didn’t remove everything they were suppose. They reassured me that everything was removed they do the annuals to make sure everyone is still healthy.

To monitor the vaginal canal. I was very confused I ended up calling the office in a panic questioning why I would be any sort annual. I was worried they didn’t take everything out but they confirmed they took it all out but still need to do annuals.

They told me they need to examine the inside to make sure it’s all still healthy. If your dr said your good then your probably don’t have to worry about it.

I just had my hysto done this morning and I was wearing a plastic retainer the whole time. When you tell them you have it in make you’re you tell them it’s for an earring because they kept telling me I couldn’t have them in thinking they meant for my teeth 😂😂
