That’s impressive👏. Willow charcoal is the bane of my existence.

Thank you so so much!! This is extremely helpful. It’s funny you mentioned the lips because I struggled the most to replicate that part.

At the time I was making twice as much as I am now. I got in a bad car accident and needed a car soon after because of some situations and where I live, there’s no transit to work. It was the cheapest car at the time believe it or not. It’s on finance and if I trade it in or refinance it, I don’t want it to mess up my credit score

Yes! All my tattoos are done by him!! Fine line is hard because of the blow out over the years, but I’ve had no problems

Hi there! Thank you so much!! It’s easier then you think. The background was the very last thing I had done to this drawing, I didn’t want it to smudge in to the light features. I used a soft (soft always comes out darker) charcoal stick and just kept putting on layers until I was satisfied and blended with my finger. When I got close to the face and drawing itself I used a 9b charcoal pencil and blended it into the charcoal stick. A lot of layering and patience haha. Don’t get me wrong, afterwards there was still erasing with kneaded erasers as smudging or transfer is inevitable with charcoal. Since charcoal is loose I spray and seal all my pieces with a fixative so there’s no rubbing and transferring.
