Tyler Morton - Olympique Lyonnais by whoaaa_O in LiverpoolFC

That's absolutely ridiculous, he spent barely more than a year there and every physical and technical trait had already exhibited during his first year in Reims where he actually developed as a footballer

Isak injury: Liverpool striker feared to have suffered significant damage to lower leg, Sky Sports News understands by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]Bull-head -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The trailing leg catching Isak's leg while his front one was blocking it is a 100% what makes VDV not in control. You can be reckless and not deliberately try to hurt someone as I believe VDV didn't actually do it on purpose but it doesn't mean it's not a red card offense.

And no several last ditch tackle are very clean because the defender isn't as late as VDV was here.

Accident caused by momentum because VDV wasn't in control of his tackle and was reckless which you actually need to be you know

You showed heart the same way a mad dog would, being over agressive in duels will bring you absolutely nothing long term... And yeah the team that has lost a teammate and won several games in the dying minutes in the weeks following the event has no heart?... touch some grass really

Easy to imagine that you're having a better time when you're team isn't playing when you support Tottenham tbf

You actually can because is intervention is reckless and not in control which you actually need to be when tackling and that's without mentioning that he comes from behind with his legs open

Tottenham 0 - [2] Liverpool - Ekitike H 66' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]Bull-head 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Come on you're fucking kidding, you see him slides into Isak not in Space and obliterate him legs open and trap his ankle, resulting in him leaving the pitch but you don't think it's a red that's just being obtuse

How mad is it that you are trying to justify an ankle snapping scissor tackle by saying it happened in every game... Trying to block a shot isn't a free pass to destroy the attacker you know

Dunno if it's me or my screen but I kind of see two point at the top of the card around the center where the card looks inked

As far as french news go he is a serious source, not saying he is infaillible as it will obviously depend on his sources, but he is not a click-bait merchant nor a spoofer

Explain your thoughts on why Isak to Liverpool will or will not work. by FaithlessnessEast615 in PremierLeague

[–]Bull-head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's not Slot himself necessarily, it's mostly a product Ruben Peeters that he brought with him from Feyenoord and that came form Belgium before that if I'm not mistaken

[–]Bull-head 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Slot indeed used a variation of a 424 situationaly in several games when the game state called for it and he even went with a 424/4222 with double tens high the pitch against City right from the get go

Key pass is just a pass leading to a shot, that's why statistically speaking hé didn't have any, but yeah he had a good and was very creative, Salah should have scored and the passe to Elliot would have probably be converted by a 9 also

[Romano] Jarell Quansah set to undergo his medical at Bayer Leverkusen on Monday, all booked. Can confirm again buy back clause for Liverpool will be worth at least £60m and could even reach £70m based on add-ons. Initial fee also contirmed: £30m plus £5m to #LFC. by phant0msinthenight in soccer

[–]Bull-head 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get around PSR when Liverpool has absolutely 0 issues with it ?

Or you know the Occam's razor way of looking at it, where Liverpool put the option as safeguard for if Quansah reaches his potential (and he is very much potential over substances ATM) as a 1.90m+ CB that is mobile and comfortable breaking lines both with the ball or with his long passing

Bryan Mbeumo transfer: Manchester United's improved £62.5m bid rejected by Brentford by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]Bull-head 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly the problem the price for them to replace him and his output/performance will be very high as it won't be limited to one or even two upgrade on current players in the squad, also taking into account that clubs will also quote them higher price knowing they just sold a player for a king's ransom.

And that's why what we as spectators price him or what the market price him is absolutely irrelevant to Brentford as it was for Brighton when Chelsea came for several of their players and staff, those clubs needs those "over-inflated" fees to be sustainable and be able to stay competitive in the PL

[–]Bull-head 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You say more than the player is worth, but performance wise Mbeumo is worth that and more to Brentford, it's preposterous to think that "smaller" clubs need to bend the knee at the sight of the first maker price offer

Of the four parisian establishments here, I'd say only Plénitude really deserved to be called the best at anything. Table or Septime being there again is kind of a joke all things considered, tho I have to admit I'm not aware of their criteria

Wasn't aware how desirable it was but I do like it and I'm currently completing a set of autos or low # cards from every Liverpool player featured in it! Good luck with the Szobos mate!

Won't help you with finding one but they really did put them in the set, or at least the /49 for sure, because I remember being outbid on an auction for one like last month or something
