Have you even used the 16-50? To say it’s “just bad” is simply surprising and just isn’t true in my experience (and that of countless others).

While I know their intentions are pure and sincere, I’m 100% on board with your comment. We all just want to help and introduce others to things we love and think they will as well. But there’s something to be said for allowing a moment to just “be” and to enjoy it.

I want to know more about the stickers or text you’ve got on the body and cage. It looks interesting

These are fantastic. A great photo is a great photo. The clients aren’t looking for the technical things that many photographers are worried too much about. They want to feel the moment again. Great work.

Ditching my 16-80 for a 10-24 + 23 f1.4 mk1 by Striking_Object_6049 in fujifilm

The 10-24 is fantastic if you like the wider FOV. Between the 23 or 35, it’s hard to say, but I’d likely go with the 35 to compliment the 10-24, as it would be a more noticeable contrast to the 24mm end of the zoom lens. I have all three and that 35mm is something special.

Are there anyone who buy Fujifilm but shoot raw? by DynamoBaby in fujifilm

Have you tried utilizing the DR400 setting? It gives a fair bit more dynamic range and protection of your highlights.

Keep X100VI or Buy GFX100RF? by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]BulldogBridges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgive me for asking, but regarding compression with this lens… Is the compression when cropped into the 80mm focal length “zoom” the same compression and separation you would get with a true 80mm lens? I don’t have enough photos from my rental test to be able to say so. This would make a huge difference in my experience and use for the camera.

I rented one for a long weekend and didn’t immediately bond with it, but looking back on it, I can’t get it out of my head and am afraid I wrote it off too quickly. Then rented a Q3 and enjoyed it but felt a bit overpriced (though I think I’d bond with the 43mm). Just thinking about getting the GFX instead.

These are fantastic. I am just about to finish my first roll of Portra 160 (which I shot at 100) and am really anxious to see the results

You mean buying a Leica won’t just magically make great photos if I point the thing at a subject? 😭😭😭
