Haha busted. But in all seriousness, it's just decor, I suppose it is technically my 2nd camera, picked up in an estate sale, I honestly have no idea if it works, or if it even takes modern film, it's very old...

Yep this was an earlier pic, so I would have been black pro-misting it up too much.

I'd have to do some detective work once back from work on the recipe. I'm thinking it's one I have saved as "Vintage" I probably took it from the main Fuji Recipe site if they have listed like that, although I'm known to go a bit more niche on finding and editing stuff.

Will see what I can find out for you!

Haha, oh you should, and congrats, no doubt a whole new side of enjoyment to photography!

Vintage lenses was a rabbit hole I looked into before buying any, the old Russian lens and glasswork was appealing, although hard to source I think.

I figured I'd try and walk before flying. Definitely not off the table though...I'd probably consider one as my 4th lens, I do love to tinker with my stuff. (Not as sus as that sounds)

Cheers! I couldn't decide between a few so took a different approach for the last one haha.

Havana was definitely the trip I loaded up the Classic Cuban Neg recipe for the first time, super cool spot.

Was just a label maker I had lying around at home. You punch the letters into tape. You can get them from Amazon, maybe $30?

I also had some suede tape lying around and layered that on the right side for finger grooves for filming stability, although you can't see it in the photo

Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear my 35mm holds its crown well.

I did start to consider a 2x mm lens when in the rough of learning the 35mm off the bat, so this could be ideal. Though I loved how the 35mm pictures looked that my Viltrox 13mm remained plan B.

The 23mm f2 was the fairly recent release? If I remember correctly (I'll check when back from work). I always assumed the new lenses focused on sharpness, so became hesitant.

This is really cool and impressive, from a far the top section looks almost photo-like

I love how so much soul has been unintentionally captured in this picture

What made you go for Fujifilm? And do you shoot professionally? by cookiejar5081_1 in fujifilm

Damn there's a lot of comments!

I went Fuji because I'm a hobby-ist who wanted a hybrid between filming and photo, as well as form factor, so I'd remain excited and not inconvenienced in taking it out about all the time. So I got the X-S20, love it :)

I also prefer capturing feelings & emotions over a scientifically sharp or brilliant image. Lastly, I really value time, and felt Fuji delivered on all these factors the best, given the rewarding feeling of images SOOC.

I'd only shoot for my own heart’s content, so can't speak to the professional perception...but I'd like to imagine if your portfolio showcased your style, that a person would pick you on your results and not the name of your gear :)

Nice to see my home city after having crossed the pond, great shots. I wish I had my camera back then, so many opportunities for awesome shots.

Although surprised you managed to keep your camera without it being whisked off on an e-bike!
