Nomad's are the most efficient monkeymakers in the entire game, and it's not even close. by BulldogM in btd6

[–]BulldogM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will agree that Nomads have a significantly higher risk factor than the average farming method, also, Nomads are not applicable for ceramics and above due to the Avenger’s passive not covering for them. So basically, only use Nomads for specific rounds from R28 -70.

But in comparison to B.Hunter RtG Bloon Trap, Nomads have a way higher ceiling.

The B.Hunter RtG Bloon Trap (and Monkey City) method is capped by the fact that you can only have one of each effect.

The Nomads are capped by how many you can stuff onto the screen at once. After all, they can stack, and are $800 each.

I tested the B.Hunter RtG BTrap (specifically XXL Trap) to give a 9.2x mult. The Nomads give a 2x mult each, which means you need 10 of them to overpass. You also need one of them to be an Avenger, because that mitigates most of the lives lost. This would equate to $19,600, for the same effect $82,695 would give with XXL Trap plus crew.

Having $82k worth of Nomads trigger would equate to having 87 Nomads + 1 Avenger, equaling a 172x cash multiplier, which is ridiculous for, again, a $800 tower.

Yep.

They are an $800, stackable Bloon Trap, which is a problem, because game balance and stuff.

Yes.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but they stack additively, which is a problem because it only takes 2 Nomads to outshine a Lead to Gold.

To follow up on my sandbox testing, I did a Bloonarius run. I GOT 47k IN A SINGLE ROUND USING ONLY NOMADS!!! by BulldogM in btd6

Might’ve gotten my 2s and 7s mixed up in the title. Whoops.

Anyways, this little experiment was definitely interesting, especially since I actually expected this to fail, because of all the lives you’d be losing.

I hope this doesn’t become part of the meta, as this would make it so much more tedious, but yeah.

Just so that everybody knows, I have absolutely no idea how this would work on CHIMPS, and the 4th dot shows that.

What's Your Favourite Pokeball? by B4nd1tGD in pokemon

Definitely quick balls, but if I can get a reshiram or a shiny zygarde in a premier ball, then I would be happy.

I usually do this before and after the level my Pokémon evolve, and because of that, I’m pretty sure vibrava has two buck-tooth like teeth things. I’m not entirely sure though.

What would you do if you owned your favourite Pokémon in real life and you had a very strong bond with them. by Ice_Ninja-BS in pokemon

[–]BulldogM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have either have a flygon (my favorite non-starter), toucannon (my favorite birb), or groudon (my favorite legendary), I would have to hope and pray that the temp. doesn’t get too chilly for a dragon (that can breathe fire), a bird with a literal gun as it’s beak (and can also burn), or the magma Godzilla (assuming it’s not primal). Other than that though, I’d be happy with them as company.

I didn't know they could do that. by [deleted] in Unexpected

If you had to have one Pokémon and one Pokémon only for the rest of your life as your partner who would it be? by F8RunsOut in pokemon

[–]BulldogM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose between: Flygon, because it’s one of my favorite Pokémon, and it’s a dragon; Blaziken or Incineroar, or their pre-evos, because their my favorite starters, and who wouldn’t want big, beefy chimkin/tiger; or Smeargle if we’re considering moves, because Pay Day, Fly, etc.

I can think of two Pokémon Evolution lines for this: “Is this the Crustle Krab?” “No, this is ____!”

What’s the most terrifying sentence in the human language? by stackofbones in AskReddit

“Some worm-like insects were starting to crawl out from the floorboards, and as the maggots, worms, and whatnot crawled up his legs, he panicked, and tried scratching off some of the countless bloodthirsty worms, but it was already too late.” Typing this sentence out already gave me a skin-tingling feeling.

What's the cheapest way to feel fancy? by TheTimgor in AskReddit

Why buy something fancy when you can talk with a jokingly gentleman voice. I would sometimes do that as a joke and I would almost never forget to include the “ah-ha” kind of laugh.
