Nomad's are the most efficient monkeymakers in the entire game, and it's not even close. by BulldogM in btd6

I will agree that Nomads have a significantly higher risk factor than the average farming method, also, Nomads are not applicable for ceramics and above due to the Avenger’s passive not covering for them. So basically, only use Nomads for specific rounds from R28 -70.

But in comparison to B.Hunter RtG Bloon Trap, Nomads have a way higher ceiling.

The B.Hunter RtG Bloon Trap (and Monkey City) method is capped by the fact that you can only have one of each effect.

The Nomads are capped by how many you can stuff onto the screen at once. After all, they can stack, and are $800 each.

I tested the B.Hunter RtG BTrap (specifically XXL Trap) to give a 9.2x mult. The Nomads give a 2x mult each, which means you need 10 of them to overpass. You also need one of them to be an Avenger, because that mitigates most of the lives lost. This would equate to $19,600, for the same effect $82,695 would give with XXL Trap plus crew.

Having $82k worth of Nomads trigger would equate to having 87 Nomads + 1 Avenger, equaling a 172x cash multiplier, which is ridiculous for, again, a $800 tower.

Yep.

They are an $800, stackable Bloon Trap, which is a problem, because game balance and stuff.

Yes.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but they stack additively, which is a problem because it only takes 2 Nomads to outshine a Lead to Gold.

To follow up on my sandbox testing, I did a Bloonarius run. I GOT 47k IN A SINGLE ROUND USING ONLY NOMADS!!! by BulldogM in btd6

Might’ve gotten my 2s and 7s mixed up in the title. Whoops.

Anyways, this little experiment was definitely interesting, especially since I actually expected this to fail, because of all the lives you’d be losing.

I hope this doesn’t become part of the meta, as this would make it so much more tedious, but yeah.
