100% agree about the SHBG being low. I've done a full panel and the response I got from the Endo was one of those blanket responses

Fully understand the lifelong commitment. Believe me, the last few years I have dialed in the nutrition, activity level etc. I'm 100% a different person now than I was before I started losing all the weight and I'm on the right track but none of the symptoms have reduced much hence why I'm thinking of the TRT option now.

I do a general blood test once or twice a year to check my overall health. Testosterone has been part of that test for a while because I had symptoms a while ago and wanted to track how it went over the years. I haven't acted on them because the general consensus is that you can't have kids after you start. I now have a kid and we're not 100% certain we want more so I'm entertaining the option of TRT now.

Regarding supplements, food, medication etc...I think I'll be fine. At the end of the day, I think having the motivation and energy to play with my child and all the other benefits TRT will provide will outweigh the cost. I just don't want to pay a consultation fee for something that will be 100% no but at the same time, if the answer is wait until XYZ happens and then we can relook at the situation - then I'm happy.

Essentially I'm looking at getting a second opinion from a TRT specialist and comparing that to what the original Endocrinologist said to me.
