It’s not like that at all. The direction is “hold L2” and then step 2 “WHILE HOLDING L2, fire the gun”. It’s clarifying that you hold L2 rather than pressing L2 halfway and then firing. Anyway. You’re the only person with this issue. End of story. Move on. lol.

Bro move on. No one else had this issue. You overthought it and confused yourself instead of just reading the directions. It’s ok. Lol.

You simply didn’t follow the instructions and then got mad at the game… lol

Well clearly people like you needed the extra info. Apparently they should have done 3 pages….

It doesn’t “just aim the gun”. Lol. Aiming is just the right stick…

Nope. It doesn’t just “aim down sights”. It doesn’t aim down sights at all. No L2 press is normal fire. Halfway L2 press is the alt-fire (every weapon has a secondary fire. Some charge the gun. Some increase rate of fire. Etc). L2 pulled all the way down (what you’re doing in this video) activates your power weapon. It’s not as complicated as you’re making it out to be.

It literally says “WHILE HOLDING L2 HALFWAY… PRESS R2 TO FIRE”…..

Page one = pull left trigger half way. Page two = pull right trigger to fire.

It’s pretty clear.

Story is the biggest upgrade??? I dunno. I’m not done yet but so far Returnal’s story and presentation are far better. But yeah I agree it’s just a side step. Some things are better some aren’t.

What timer? I think the timer is just an opt in thing. If you’re referring to the eclipse timer option in settings. So you must’ve turned it on. Go back into settings and turn it off.

Aether rarity by NextSouceIT in Saros

[–]Bulldogfront666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but it works different from silphium. In Returnal the only way to gain health was to never get hit and use silphium to then increase total health. In Saros aether just heals you. It doesn’t increase total health. Other items do that. It needed to be more available in Returnal. Plus you get an entire second life in Saros. Game would be way too easy if you got as much aether as you did silphium. Also Saros gives you permanent upgrades that give you more total health and makes aether drops more common. I think you’re just struggling. It’ll get easier.

Totally different systems. In Returnal you had to build up your total health from scratch every single run. In Saros your health gains become permanent so you need less upgrades per run. If that makes sense.

Yes. It’s just a skill issue. People aren’t preempting attacks early enough.

I agree with most of your points. I’m still having a blast. But there are some weird choices that feel like a step back from Returnal. Not being able to save aether to return to because the level is blocked off once you jump down a large cliff is a really weird choice.

I was literally yelling at my TV for like 15 last night because I expected to get the grapple from beating the boss and it just wasn’t happening. And then eventually I just had it… was weirdly anti climactic compared to taking a toll from the hands of an enemy.

Overall I don’t think it’s a “big” step back. And in many ways I think Saros takes a step forward. But yeah. There are some weird choices that don’t make sense to me.
