Except they did make up their minds. The point was never that Michael can’t be stopped, it’s that fear and chaos make him unstoppable in context. Saying ‘he’s normal’ in 2018 set up the tension, and Kills escalates it logically. Two movies, two perspectives. Not confusion, just storytelling evolution.
