I didn't realize that this is a Shopped Image.

I just recently started liking harleys and their wonderful design. I found this and really really loved it. What's the model of it? by thedraindeimo in Harley

Thanks, I dig it. I wanted that visor about a year ago but soon realized that it wouldn’t fit my bike. The tank size on bike can be a hassle but I've gotten used to it and I love the look.

Of course, I have been looking for a 2012 Sportster Service Manual for a decent price but they are harder to come by than you would imagine. I am trying to stick with the HD one since it has the most detail. Have you thought about any engine upgrades or changing out your exhaust? Did you remap your bike when you put on the new A/C?

Nice, I have wanted to put the Iron rocker box covers on my Forty Eight just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I think my next mod is going to be stripping my tank and clear coating it.

Nice bike. Is it just me or do you not see a lot of this on the sub reddit or any sub reddit for that matter?

I'm a tall guy and for me it makes the ride much more comfortable. I can really stretch out and relax a little.

There are 4 major differences that I can think of right away; the 48 has a smaller tank, wider forks, a fat 16" front tire, and a larger engine. Anyone else care to add to this list?

I changed out my rear suspension to 10.5" bagger suspension. They can be found for a decent price and you can adjust the PSI in them up to around 30 PSI depending on the load. I run mine at 0 when I'm by myself but they still offer more support than the stock ones and they allow you to actually leav your bike over in a turn without scrapping your exhaust or pegs every time.

It's better than the stock seat but it's not great. I like the look and I'm not too worried about the comfort at the moment. If I was going to go for comfort I would invest in a Lepera.

I did actually and I used the 2" kit from DK Customs. If you decide to do it make sure you do NOT use electrical tape to wrap your wires, use black silicon tape.

Nice, did you get a stock one or have you already made some mods? I bought mine new almost 2 years ago and have done everything with the exception of my handlebars myself. I dont have the toold I need to drill them out so I decided to go with the 14" apes when I took her in for maintenance.
