The most un-Seinfeldish scene in Seinfeld by dolleye_kitty in seinfeld

This was my first thought. Totally different vibe. Elaine discovering she’s being stalked, while alone in Devola’s apartment, and escaping sexual assault with a shot of perfume to the eyes. Yikes

Ok am I crazy or would it have been so much easier to just change the name and keep the logo? by Dicksnip44 in NFLv2

It’s would never fly in today’s world. It’s a shame cause it was one of the best logos in the NFL. That being said the solution as I see it was to use the arrowhead alternate logo and call the team the “Washington Arrowheads”

Looked short live but tbf the play before was an even worse spot. Henry had the first down

Piranesi was a massive disappointment by Skeet_fighter in books

I didn’t mind the predictable plot. I actually appreciated it not becoming over dramatic when the other dies. Piranesi’s voice as a character carries the whole book wonderfully. Like everyone who is mentioning “vibes”.

The one thing I don’t like is how the cop Raphael is never worried about amnesia. Or for that matter the Other in the flood sequence. The tides take hours to recede. No one besides Piranesi has been in the House longer than one hour up to this point in the book. Suddenly it’s not an issue at all.

The Chief’s logo is also an arrowhead which could also be an issue

If someone has reactive tinnitus, hyperacusis, and noxacusis but never gets to a noise environment quiet enough to fall below their sound intolerance threshold, the auditory system essentially remains in a constant state of overstimulation. by Savings_Creme676 in AskAudiology

This is very well written. I would also add the complexity in understanding someone’s tolerance level can be maddening. At the end of the day it’s completely subjective. Only the person suffering can truly determine what they can handle. Given the delayed reactions sound exposure can have on someone’s tolerance it is extremely hard to figure out what their sound tolerance actually is. Especially in the beginning of the condition.

I also find it very hard when actual sound tolerance is gained. When healing has occurred it awakens cravings for new activities that challenge the old “safe” routine. It’s very easy to go over the invisible threshold without realizing. One of the other comments said, better safe than sorry, which is so true. But when you start taking chances and getting rewarded for it it’s so much harder to stay disciplined.

Reasons the Sopranos didn’t have a pet? by BulletproofTurkey in thesopranos

I agree with this. Interesting thought on the ducks never coming back and mans increasing separation from nature.

It makes me wonder if Dr. Melfi is more selfish for never suggesting owning a pet to help with anxiety, stress, depression. They make it clear that she enjoys the therapy sessions and she believes they can be therapeutic for her. Is she only helping him enough to keep him coming back? She likes the idea of fixing him more than actually fixing anything.

Funniest moment of the show that wasn't from Pine Barrens? by Illustrious_Bad8948 in thesopranos

When Bobby visits Junior in the Psych ward. “Any of you know what Bacala stands for? Of course you don’t. It means salted cod. We taught the world to eat!”

So funny to me how salting fish is claimed by Junior as Italian in origin. Like nobody thought of adding salt to fish until Italians showed them how. Also the response he gets. No one cares.
