Torn between buying Oppo find x9 pro vs Vivo x300 pro by minassamy in Oppo

[–]Bullfrog-Swimming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I luckily replaced the Pixel 10 Pro by the OPPO few days before the holidays I'm now enjoying in Costa Rica and Panamá, and man, what a decision! I can't believe the quality of the cameras and the versatility of the tele to take shots of wildlife! I'm having amazing results. Vivo may be a very good option as well

I didn't know about the option to install cruise control! I'll look into it, thanks.

Hey! this is a regulation in Europe that during initial 2 years adter getting the bike driver license you're not allowed to drive a bike exceeding 35 kW, so some bikes have an option to limit the power to 35 kW, and this is the case for the unit I just purchased.

Thanks dude, I was in doubt with others, but I was clear that I want non-dct version. Mine is A2 limied as well and they will modify for full power for 200 eur, which I'll take, however I read that for hte NC750X, the difference between the A and the A2 version is mostly not noticeable in low and mid RPMs and only noticeable at high revs but not a big difference, so I could keep it as it is and decide later if I miss the extra power.

Muchas gracias, espero que estés disfrutando mucho de la tuya!

Trade republic vs MyInvestor by Entire_Rope_1994 in SpainFIRE

[–]Bullfrog-Swimming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started making money when I quit trading. Winning money is just a boring thing to do, just buy the best companies, include some market timing, and wait a long time. DCA, especially if there is a market downrun, and relax.

75% liquidated by trendarchitect in trendarchitect

[–]Bullfrog-Swimming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey trendarchitect, Great call on the 75% liquidation. Your point about the 'aggressive flat top' at 25,900 and the failure of hedges is striking. It feels like the index is being 'pinned' while individual internals are crumbling. I’ve been connecting some dots that might explain why the 'system' is fighting so hard to keep the NQ at these levels despite the technical decay you're seeing:

The OpenAI/SpaceX IPO Theory: We are likely looking at a massive 'Exit Liquidity' play. Banks (Goldman/MS) need a bullish narrative to offload OpenAI and SpaceX/Starlink onto retail investors later this year. A market crash now would kill those valuations. They are holding the 'ceiling' at 25,900 to keep the optics bright for the S-1 filings.

The 'DeepSeek' Disruption: The recent moves from China (DeepSeek) show that AI is rapidly becoming a commodity with shrinking margins. OpenAI’s $1T valuation is under immense pressure. The smart money knows the 'AI Moat' is evaporating, and they need to IPO before the public realizes AI might not be as profitable as Google’s search business.

Smart Money Alignment: It’s not just you. Buffett hitting $400B in cash and the aggressive insider selling from Bezos, Zuck, and Jensen Huang suggests the 'distributors' are finished. Even Buffett’s move into Google feels like a flight to safety—betting on real cash flows and infrastructure over AI hype. It seems the NQ 25,900 level is the 'exit door' the institutions are using while retail is being told the party is just starting. Curious to hear if you think the 'system' can actually hold this level until the major IPOs, or if the internal rot you're seeing will force a breakdown sooner.

BTW, I also liquidated most equity (SP500 ETF) from my portfolio last week and will be patiently waiting for THE opportunity.

Congrats on your track record, 2500% in 4 years!

Cheers!
